Well I talked to the professor, defeated Drill Beast and destroyed the crystal, talked to the professor again, and he still seems to tell me that I need to destroy the dark crystal, even though I already did.

So bother you!

So bother you![/quote]I think you need to do something else, if I remember correctly.  I forget what exactly since I haven't been at that point in the game in a while.  If all else fails, talk to everyone and revisit whatever dungeons you've been to.

I've recently defeated Mantodega Beast on another save file, so I'll see if I can pinpoint the requirements to get the professor to know that you've destroyed the crystal. It seems that talking to the girl at graduate school and the professor isn't enough for the game to properly advance.
