Also, wouldn't it make more sense to rip off Fantasy Zone for the artwork instead of Parodius? I know the bosses look weird, but still.

Magic Carpet is the 2nd game in the list and it sucks, but at least its title music is fun :P

I can't help but wonder what on earth was going through the person that made that games mind.. The level music is so atonal and grinding it actually sticks in my mind. :'(

Hey taizou, anything else you think you've got saved on that PC btw? If you kept that photo hidden away for so long.... :p

Also I noticed that that balloon with whatever it is hanging onto it isn't part of the original Gokujou Parodius cover. I wonder where they got it from.

They probably drew it from scratch in a vain attempt to look original. :P

Edit: And by that, I mean, it is quite literally the icon for Corel Draw. (I still have the CD for version 4 of that program in my room somewhere...)

(I still have the CD for version 4 of that program in my room somewhere...)[/quote]Comparing the two, the one on the box art looks edited (the lighting looks different as far as I can tell) so maybe they redrew it from scratch and stuck it on the Parodius art. Also, what's a balloon doing in space anyway?

Never ceases to amaze me how you guys know the sources of these things! :o I wonder if this was their lame attempt at avoiding copyright infringement, by sticking something else on the art work, somehow making it theirs hah.

Recently got myself a 150-in-1 (according to TaoBao) cartridge, completely with (most likely) stolen artwork and text I can't read: cool:

Spoiler: click to toggle

Haven't tested it yet, but it says it's for the CoolBoy which I don't own and I somehow doubt it'd work on my Famicom so I doubt I'll be able to play it yet. BTW, if someone can translate the text I'd be grateful. :)
