What Video Editing Software You Use?
« on: March 29, 2013, 01:12:55 PM »
So, question is, what video editing software do you use? (if you make videos)

I use Sony Vegas, because it can capture stuff off my capture card and I can make lovely YouTube Poops with it. :P

How about you? ^_^

Windows Movie Maker due to me having two ONE old PC. Thinking of moving to VirtualDub anytime soon.

EDIT: Actually VD isn't for video rendering with text added. :\

WMM and Videopad Editor for main editing, and iWisoft Video Converter to do audio/video conversions and stereo to mono edits.  Far from amazing, but with the small stuff I do it works fine.

Hope it's alright that I bump a thread that's been lying around doing nothing for three months. Anyway, when I used to make videos, I always used Windows Movie Maker. Although at the start of 2011, I was going to use Adobe Premiere Pro that a friend told me about (and gave me a burned CD containing it) but it was too intricate to work with. I miss Movie Maker... :(

Movie Maker for simple things (like commentaries or playthroughs) and Adobe Premiere CS5 for anything that gets more complicated than that.

Used Windows Movie Maker in Early 2000's
Now I use Sony Vegas but it's complicated has a hell.
