Not sure where it's from, but the randomised stage themes reminds me of the Pirates of the Carribean game on this page.

As for the music, one of the songs is based off the Tetris DS remix of the Super Mario theme and the song 17 seconds in is based of a contemporary (whatever the word is) song I forget the name of.

This (Super Mario 4/Супер Марио 4: Космическая Одиссея) was recently patched so that visiting the store doesn't crash the game if you get the wrong music bank.
