you need to install Python, save the script as a .py file and you can just drag the rom onto it to swap the byte order. Though even if you replaced all the graphics, most games seem to start up with either the wrong PRG, the wrong CHR or both... only a few load both correctly (Aether Captor is one I think)

One thing I don't get is that the .bin version is 4MB whereas the other one is 8MB. :huh:

I guess the ROM is duplicated in the other one to make it work in fceu. if you actually look at the prg and chr files they're the same.

Yeah, sorry about not actually including the converted file yesterday-- I should've just uploaded that and posted it along with the conversion script. My excuse is that I've been busy with my actual day job and upcoming move to another state...and tired as a result.

Looking at the menu graphics, there's apparently an unused intro screen with a logo I can't make out and a message which I think says "Trifles make perfection". O_o

yeah, its the logo of Defender, a Russian company: http://www.eng.defender-global.com/products/game/electronics/
I guess at some point they either distributed or planned to distribute this thing, and the logo is left over from their version.

Good catch on Defender. I noticed that logo as well, but couldn't puzzle out how to arrange the tiles to make something intelligible. (Should've gone with my guess based on bits and pieces of the logo that I could make out...)

Also, I bet there's a way to make that screen accessible through savestate hacking and the DreamGEAR 75 in 1, but FCEU's save state function seems to be buggered. >_<

-Interstellar
-Difference Picture
-Corsair
-Gem Game
-Pounce
-Beach Ball
-Ice Cap
-Dune War
-Eggs
-Cowpoke
-Mice Mission
-Bomb Time
-Indreak

These are the only games on this whole mess that are even REMOTELY worth ripping, IMO.

I would like to make a quick note. The games will start up. However they either load a nice code game that has been dumped already. Or the correct games will load up but will show graphics. The graphics are either from another game or they are for the same game. However the graphics won't unscramble properly. The games will start up on the lastest version of fceux only.Also the coolboy 400 in 1 console has title screen hacks of some of the games from the games xplosion already. Meanwhile the superarcade 110 in 1 i think also includes games from the same console.

Awesome panda i know it is not related but the sports game 69 in 1 contains unused graphics for it's menu screen.Ninja kun i think the reason why they included a hack of f1 race is because they have a graphics hack of it on vt06 consoles only.
