Wildly confused, I could have sworn I already shared this but oh well. Better late than never I suppose.

It seems to just be Pokemon: Diamond, just published by a different company. A lot of companies were just taking from one another though unsurprisingly.

This is something you can easily find online to be honest, but this is meant to be a dump with a known source. I ripped it this off the pictured multicart, no idea who released it though. One thing that is funny is that most multicarts will slightly edit titles on the menu to disguise that they are repeating the same 10 games. Not this one though, it just repeats everything with the exact same titles. I played this for a bit as a test, but I suck to be honest so I couldn't even get through the first level to the boss (which I assume there is one).

By the way, the constantly flashing title of Thunder Blast Man with different colors makes it a little annoying to capture a title screenshot.

Yeah, it's just Pokemon Blue. They couldn't even put a space between Green and Version, but I guess that makes this "translation" so unique. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know the GS symbol was only used on the North American releases of Pokemon Gold and Silver dating it's earliest possible release to around 2000. It also hilariously asks you to connect to Yellow to catch all 251 Pokemon (which wouldn't be possible even if it were Gen 2 since Celebi was event only in Japan... I think?). Even if you only consider non-event Gen 1 Pokemon, Ekans, Arbok, and Electabuzz aren't in Blue or Yellow making it impossible without using glitches.

Anyways, we know it's from the Sun/Tian Ren publisher due to the "SD" coding on the front and the fact that it does say "SUN" on the back of the PCB. It's kind of just a lazy title screen hack of Pokemon Blue but, enjoy I guess?

EDIT: Slight correction, I had the wrong palette turned on my Pocket while capturing the title screen. I've replaced the title screen image.

Sorry to post in your thread but I recognize this version. It's also on the 100 in 1 multicart by Game USA (UC-100M01). Not sure if this has been known or is significant

I don't mind if you post. I never noticed this was on the 100 in 1, that multicart really has a wide range of various games.

Finally, I found a multicart that provides working dumps of the PIS Watch hacks of Japanese Gold and Silver. I have a standalone Silver that dumps a glitchy ROM and another multicart that doesn't dump anything but the menu. I've only tested this up to getting the Pokedex and beating a wild Pokemon. In the previous partially functional dump of Silver a lot of sprites and sounds were messed up and the game would crash as soon as you got into your first battle.

Same as above.

To elaborate, the PIS Watch menu (as seen here), allows you to change the time and day at will. It's not like there is no RTC, I'm not sure if time moves while off but it certainly moves as you play the game. Current goal is find a working PIS Watch version of Crystal which apparently does exist.

Based on what I've seen, this could be an earlier version of a Pokemon Yellow translation of Taiwanese origin that I've seen. I'll have to see if I can find it and play and do a little comparison. I'm going to guess it's better than the previous (far far more common) Chinese pirate translation of Yellow though.

For some reason it won't boot on my GBC or my GBA but it will boot on my Analogue Pocket. Thankfully it dumped fine and works in hhugboy, which will boot it in SGB mode automatically. I haven't tested it out *too* much really, all I've done is withdraw my free Potion and win my first battle.

EDIT: Forgot this was built on Japanese Yellow and the Japanese version doesn't have the fancy GBC bells and whistles the other releases have so I turned on the palette for Japanese Yellow on my Pocket and recaptured the screenshot.

Yup, definitely Pokemon: Ruby Version for the GBC. As expected, I needed to fix the header for this dump.

From the same people who created the fake Pokemon: Platinum Version, we have Emerald with all 386 Pokemon! Makes me wonder when the first 386 hacks came out and if these title screen hacks copied them or pioneered the idea.

This time, in addition to an inserted title screen before the game boots we actually have an edited title screen! I didn't notice before, but the game will autoboot in SGB mode in hhugboy but no border shows up until after the actual game starts.

Another interesting feature of this hack is that it's says it's GreenVersion, but is actually Blue similar to the alleged English translation I previously shared. However, the palette that loads automatically in a GBA (it's too dark to really tell on my GBC) is that of Pokemon: Green Version. Pretty neat in my opinion.

Oh hey, yet another Emerald (this time it's a hack of Yellow). By some miracle, despite being a 2009 release, this required zero header editing and works as is. They insert this cursed looking Gallade with a limited palette at the beginning of the game before anything starts and just totally blank out the actual starting screen. Kind of like those unclaimed Pokemon and Telefang Hacks I've posted. Hmmm.

By the way, I can't identify the Gallade image being used on the label. I tried looking through some official art and reverse image searched it as well. If you know, please let me know.

This one was tough, it wouldn't always get detected by my dumper, it sometimes gave me a garbage file, and it always automatically detected as 8MB causing it to take a long time to dump multiple times. Why did I need to dump it multiple times? Because it keeps giving me inconsistent dumps. I did get two dumps that were exactly the same, which is what I'm sharing here. I trimmed it down to 1MB (the same size as the Internet Archive dump as well as 02 4 which I think it's based on).

Another tough one, this time no consistent dumps at all. I had to compare 6 dumps in a hex editor to see which data was the most consistent. There wasn't much, but some had half half and I needed to make 3 additional dumps to break ties.

This appears to be a title screen hack of Vast Fame's Digimon 3: Crystal.

A BBD Digimon game, this one has a lot of aliases. You can probably tell what it is just from the title screen.

This one boots with a BBD logo on a GBC which is always neat.

The image of gallade is likely traced from the front artwork of this booster pack :)
