I have a theory that [Mario World 64] was made by the
Peruvian scene organization Twin Eagles Group,
instead of Gamtec as most people appear to
believe. Here's why:
1. They already made a "Sonic on SNES" game,
which is a hack of a Speedy Gonzales game. At
the end it says "Sonic loves Nintendo, Mario
loves Sega." This could be based on the same
joke.
2. Instead of opening with a logo, it opens with a
photo of Mario, similar to how Ronaldinho Super
Soccer 64 opens with a photo of Ronaldo.
3. The music is mostly stolen from Disney
games, and a lot (not all) of TEG games are
based off Disney movies.
4. Yoshi is not so well photoshopped out of the
title screen. TEG's 16-bit hacks are usually a bit
scuffed.
5. The sound that was not stolen sounds similar
to TEG's music.
The main proof I have is that this could be a
follow-up of Sonic 4.
