DreamGEAR My Arcade Line - New Debug Screens found
« on: July 21, 2019, 01:36:59 PM »
So I was looking on the My Arcade Handhelds page and found out about the Debug Menu, and I decided to try it myself. I was able to get it working only one time. But my curiosity peaked and I decided to try it on the Other DreamGEAR Products I had, and 2 of them just so happened to have a Debug menu too!

These two products are the Retro Arcade Machine and the Micro Controller! It's astonishing that two of these bootleg consoles had some form of Debug Menu, especially the Plug n' Play Micro Controller. The debug menu is activated by holding down A and B and turning the device on (Or Resetting). These Debug menus are Both able to be activated without any restrictions, so have fun!

Interesting! The first debug screen looks like it is testing ROM address lines (A0..A25 would be address signals for a 512Mbit 8-bit or 1Gbit 16-bit ROM). I've definitely seen the second one before, in other VT02/03 plug-and-plays.
