Wow. Rockman&Crystal is finally dumped! too bad that that one's in Chinese, so I can't figure out Vast fame-ish engrish.

EDIT : These dumps are NOT working on Visualboyadvance AND No$GBA. O.o
 - Rockman&Crystal : No screen available in VBA. Crashes in No$GBA.
 - Digimon Rury : No screen available in VBA and No$GBA.
 - Juezhan Sanguo : No screen available in VBA. Crashes in No$GBA.

Taizou // You were right. Sorry. I found these games working on mGBA Dev version.
Anyway mGBA is uncomfortable to speed up....

EDIT : About the prologue boss.
"Hahaha. Zook! Stop right here! I, Midoll(米多爾), won't let you proceed!"
He fires sonic wave in 3 directions and dashes, And he throws his saber like a boomerang - It can be easily avoided by going the most left of screen.

First thing I would like to say is Congratulations on dumping that Mega man game :D
I'll be sure to check it out, and maybe rip the sprites from it :)

Looks like this version was only released in Taiwan, and probably in very limited quantities - the only other copy I know of is fcgamer's one.

Does it get past the Game Boy logo screen, at least? Might be a failure of the protection circuit if that's the case. I have a couple of Sintax GBC carts with similar problems.

here are the credits from Zook:
Spoiler: click to toggle

All first names/pseudonyms only, but some of the names are familiar from their other later games.
oh and there's no "to be continue" like in Zook Hero 2 or their Digimon games, it just says "THANK YOU FOR PLAYING... AND SEE YOU AGAIN..." so maybe they knew this would be the last Zook game..

also I think some of you already know about the unused 2003 Vast Fame copyright present in Zook's graphics (it was in the portion of the ROM dumped a long time ago), but Juezhi Sanguo has a big VF logo in there which also seems to be completely unused (unless it's displayed at the ending)

...I wonder if "Hanman" is in any way connected to Liao Hanmin of Gamtec.

If so, that adds a whole new interesting twist to things-- the opening level's music is straight out of Super Fighter 2001α, so maybe Liao Hanmin and Liao Yishen were one and the same?

Edited to add: Also, I wouldn't be surprised if "Jannet" was Lin Cuie, what with her having been credited as Janet Lin on several Gamtec games. The reason she'd only be credited under "thanks", rather than as a producer, is likely that she was working for Sunplus by 2003! (I'd already shared this link with taizou, but for everyone else wanting receipts for that statement: an abstract, in Chinese, from a university presentation she gave.)

The two companies are most definitely connected.  I think I have a good shot at being able able to meet some of these folks, in person at that.  Per the thread about Hummer Cheng, maybe it is best to take stuff like this to PMs, so that other folks involved in the industry also don't get bombarded with countless messages.

As another random aside, the credits in the game itself don't entirely match up with those in the manual (a scan of which can be found at The Mechanical Maniacs). Most notably, in the manual:
  • The Case Leader is "Jackie" (instead of "Manager")
  • The Music credit is "Man" (instead of "Hanman")
  • "Shin" and "Ruman" also worked as artists
  • "Black" was an additional tester

Did anyone notice "Sonic" in the credits?!
