Now here goes another Vast Fame's excellent RPG - Xin Feng Shen Bang(新封神傍).
As
taizou's rom dump page says, this game is based on Chinese novel 'Feng Shen YangYi(封神演義)'.
*Differences between This game and Original
-The game has totally different story.
-Some of characters use Mystic Tools(法寶) to fight each other. In original novel, characters have their Tools of own style. However, in this game, same Tools can be used by multiple characters if their type matches.
-Yang Jian is originally a male, but Yang is a female in this game.
-A lot of Tools' effects are not same as original novel.
*Pros :
-Nice story and gameplay, as always Vast Fame's RPG games did. Even an ending does!
-Excellent character design and their personalities. All of main characters ROCKS.
*Cons :
-Like VF's other RPG games, this game has some piracy - Battle UI is from <Star Ocean : Blue Sphere>.
-Some glitches, as other VF games do!
Shazam found one of them.-Lacks some balance, as SKXS did. Some Mystic Tools are OP.
-Battle actions are quite boring.
-No different facial icons. SKXS and SHSS had them.
