That music is rather interesting, given that it's by NTDEC but it doesn't appear to be used in any of their games. Sounds like the engine that was used for Fighting Hero, which came out in the same year. Also, why is Arnold Schwarzenegger on the menu? XD

I think to support all of those games the cart might have a larger (in terms of physical and the memory size) CHR ROM (Correct me if I am wrong) I have an example that some CHR ROM's can be larger than normal ones in multicarts. There was a 300-in-1 at Famicom world which had a larger CHR ROM to support the game. I'm not sure if there is such equipment for dumping CHR ROM's of that size.
(Correct me if I am wrong, I'm new to studying CHR ROM's and Mappers, OneBus carts/consoles, etc. :P)

It's a 245-in-1...

http://shenjingbing.typepad.com/supercom32/245in1.jpg

POST ABOUT IT HERE:
http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=5281.0

To help out, here is the quote on the 245-in-1
"Yes, unfortunately the price is marked at a premium since there is limited supply and because the cartridges are slightly more expensive since they contain larger ROMs than usual in order to get 245 games on 1 cartridge."

Can't be sure if the 250-in-1 can be dumped at the moment.

The majority of time, most if not all games on multicarts are either 24kb or 40kb big and only 8kb is used for CHR data in both cases, so I think most of the time the PRG data is larger. Can you show that 300-in-1, BTW?

As for that 245-in-1, I think that might just be 23 games with 222 repeats or something. Also, I'm surprised they actually bothered making a box for it.

Nah, it's actually a good multi which has nothing to do with Powerful 250in1. It has something like 200 unique game.

Theres one in the linked Famicom World post. seems to have very few, if any repeats. and the games in part 2 are mostly 256k stuff. so it probably does have a much larger rom size than the Powerful 250 in 1, which has lots of repeats and mostly early/small games.

Looking at that 222-in-1 list, I noticed a few oddities on there. Firstly, why are both Castle Excellent and Castlequest on there when they're practically the same game? (the former gives you 3 lives while the latter gives you 50, and the title screens are different) I also like how "Cardcaptor" is listed, even though that anime didn't exist until after the Famicom officially bit the dust. I also noticed a few Inventor hacks and QSL originals, like Tunny and Fish War. (the former is a hack of SonSon, and for some odd reason the character is called John on the title screen but the name reverts back to SonSon in game) I also don't get why they'd include awful games like Transformers and Back to the Future when Adventures of Lolo and R.C. Pro-Am are the same size. BTW, is it just me or is "Datman 1" (game 203) actually Sunsoft's Batman game? I doubt it, but it'd be awesome if that were the case.
Incidentally, with that many games that multicart's gotta be about 8mb, which would be ridiculously large even for a good multicart. The largest I've seen is 4.5mb, and that was JY's 45-in-1.

"Batman 1" (presumably Sunsoft's) is in part 2 though
Spoiler: click to toggle
so its kind of odd that it'd be in part 1 as well.

i guess part 1 (the 222 in 1) and part 2 (23 in 1) were originally separate multicarts that were combined together. but i wonder how those few hacks/originals got on there ...
Incidentally im pretty sure (although I'll have to check up on it) that "UU Weapon" & "Gear Master" are Macro Winners' own hacks (ie credited to them) from the 88 Games joystick .. I could understand stuff like Tunny and Hassle being on there since they seem to have done the rounds of just about every famiclone company in China by this point, but I always thought those MW hacks were pretty much exclusive to their own consoles.
also :D @ "Dongkey Kong"

Mind you, it's probably just Ninja-Kun for the umpteenth time but it'd be funny if it was included.
