Found a Chinese version of Pokemon diamond special pikachu edition. Do you guys think that it could possibly yield all the levels? Have we ever seen a Chinese version before of this game? http://h5.m.taobao.com/awp/core/detail.htm?id=26912564815&rn=&sid=c7a1a9cf325adcb0&abtest=2

Game Boy / Which Makon Soft/Yong Yong games are dumped?

Digimon yellow jade can be found in taizou's dumps in his handheld underground pages. Though I don't know about those other digimon games you've mentioned.

What I mean by hacks is that the Moemon game was originally made from hacking one of the third Gen Pokemon games. Then later translated to Chinese.

Ooh that looks really interesting. We have to get this cart to taizou as well. We don't even have a video of it yet.

Pirate Talk / When did you first come across pirate games?
« on: July 16, 2013, 01:39:50 PM »
About two years ago, when I was thirteen, I came across Pokemon quartz on eBay and got it for my birthday. And since then I've been looking for more obscure games related to Pokemon. Then I found you guys last year, and I've been collecting fake/pirated games ever since.

Yeah these can all be readily found on the internet as dumps. But hey, some of them are hacks... So if they want to talk about them, so be it I guess.

Bootleg Bazaar / some of my bootlegs

You can find some of the stuff people want to sell by looking in the bootleg bazaar. Some of us could be open to trade as well. Also since the population of this forum is from many different countries (I think many at least) many members would be happy to ship to you. :)

I saw this game that said darkwing duck that had Donald duck on the label probably just an ordinary pirate, but then I saw it said Ubisoft on the label also. What could that mean? http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-488152714-darkwing-duck-pato-donald-game-boy-color-gbc-_JM

Please can you guys stop asking silly questions like this? This stuff takes time. :( Y'know, if you wanna play it so badly just check on eBay every once in a while. Makon games aren't that difficult to come across.
I already have Pokemon diamond special pikachu edition. And I have heard how hard it is to crack copy protection. I was just wondering if there were ways around it like dumping from multi carts or something. The only reason I would want them dumped anyway would be to play the ones that stop after the first stage all the way through.  :)

Yeah, I also remember that Pokemon adventure was dumped. Does that mean someone somewhere got past the copy protection? And what about when it's on a multi cart? I remember taizou saying he had Pokemon diamond special pikachu edition on a multi cart, would that make any difference in dumping?

(Oh, and I realize that I accidentaly posted this in the bootleg bazaar. No idea why, but I meant it for the game boy section. I would appreciate it if an admin moved it. Thanks.)

Is it because of copy protection or is it because we don't want to? Also if games like Pokemon diamond special pikachu edition were to be dumped, would someone be able to get it to go past the first stage?

Many times Pokemon diamond and Pokemon jade (gbc) show up on eBay. And sometimes the seller specifies that they ship internationally. Here is one of those occurances: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pokemon-Three-Set-Jade-Daimond-Crystal-GBC-Brand-New-World-Wide-Shiping-/111092078219?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item19dd9a968b Though this is too much for those two as far as I'm concerned. Though I don't know if these were some of the bootlegs your looking for. But if your willing to spend that much for two bootlegs, no ones standing in your way. ;)

Powermon is a computer game. It is a platformer featuring a Pikachu like creature, well yeah, it looks a lot like pikachu. I have a link to it on YouTube in my signature. I apologize for the horrible video in advance.  :)

I mean I really don't see any point in deleting this. It's already here and gives some information on a homebrew that I'm sure most of us didn't know about. Chowdit1, do you have a video of the homebrew on YouTube? I mean another unlisenced game, it may not be the best one from what Chowdit1 said, but isn't this place to spread discussion on both pirate and unlisenced games?
No, I don't a video on it, but they didn't homebrew games on the Bootleg Games Wiki.
Well wisdom tree is on BGW. http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Wisdom_Tree It's games aren't pirated but they are original ideas and not hacked games. They aren't licensed by nintendo. So aren't all games not licensed by Nintendo, original ideas, not hacked from random games, aren't all the games with these requirements basically homebrew and unlisenced? Xanver, with the homebrew in the cart, which is an unlisenced game, wouldn't it be part of unlisenced/pirated gaming?
