Oh! Just remembered something else I saw in a store a few weeks back that I'd forgotten about, until I checked to see if it was indeed what I thought it was... I probably ought to see if it's still for sale.

The InterAct 40-in-1 gaming system! That's not my post, for the record, but this guy saw it in the same clearance store chain that I did, so...yeah.

Given the game list and chassis design, this thing is very clearly a rebranded MiWi from Macro Winners (and Waixing and Cube Tech). Unfortunately, this one's known to be a VT168, and thus Famicom-incompatible, but... yay plagiarized italo-disco soundtracks!

I might be wrong, but I think that InterAct thing is a rebranded version of the MiWi 2 or whatever it's called. A few videos of it were uploaded recently. ;)

...That is so typical of Macro Winners. Two units, one of which is pure Waixing, one of which is Waixing and Cube Tech, and the packaging doesn't change. Heh.

No, wait, now that I look at more of the video, that one actually does have some Cube Tech games on it. It's like they literally split the menu into a Waixing part and a Cube Tech part.

And yeah, seeing that video... it's totally a MiWi Xtra. The menu's identical.

Also, what's the point of including rubbish public domain games if you're just include a load of regular Famicom games? Also, why did they call it Terminator 2.5 when the Terminator 3 film already exists? :P

Pokemon Sapphire, aka Digimon D5 on Taobao.  It's apparently a fighting game by SKOB.  They're also selling a Chinese version(?) of Pokemon Ruby, the game based off of Digimon Pocket.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Nothing particularly special; the copy of Zook Hero Z on the left isn't in the best condition.  The games are pretty much the same as what I got before (the only thing different about San Guo Zhi, by the way, is that it has a V.Fame logo on bootup.  It's otherwise the same as the ROM).  I might put some of these up for sale.

I just got a real cart of "Bao Qing Tian" from an Ebay seller named "Milkhunter88". The back of the cart is a bunch of funny lies.  :D

The left game is Pokemon Crystal Tower King, aka Pokemon Ruby by Vast Fame.  I made a topic about it and New Game here.  The game on the right is a simplified Chinese translation of V.Fame's Devil Island called "Castlevania 2" on the title.  Pokemon Crystal Tower King is for sale at Sky League's page, but it's a whopping 100 Yuan, where I got this from another seller for about 10-15 Yuan.  Lucky me!

Two games that I got in a trade.  The left game is the Sachen KOF SRPG that I already have but in a blue cart, and the right game is a lazy hack of their Spiderman platformer.  How lazy?  They didn't even bother to change the Spiderman graphics in the HUD or power-ups (or anywhere except the title/cutscenes), and it still has the really inappropriate Pokemon Pinball music for the cutscenes.   What's funny about the Sintax one is that the box and manual shows screenshots of a game based off of the game engine of their Digimon Yellow Jade game, but the game itself is totally different.

More crap!  The right is a spare cart of Gals Fighters; nothing new.  The left game is a complete copy of Digimon Pocket that I found!  The game itself, despite showing images from the multicart version, it's actually the single-cart version, right down to the "Digi." boot logo.  The box doesn't have a hint of Vast Fame's logo on it (though it certainly matches their design) it has only one small mention of a company:

For those who can't read it (meaning everybody squinting at the crap image) it says "台灣經濟發展研究院" or "Taiwan's Economic Development Institute" (this place?)
