Does it matter that much?  It's a discontinued game that can only be gotten through bidding wars on sites like Ebay.  It'd be better to pirate it than have to play some non-developer over $100 for a copy (which I've mentioned before with Beggar Prince.)

[/quote]together with the announcement of cart release they also gave out a torrent link to the ROM so that more people can enjoy the game, or at least test it before buying it

so it is 100% fine
