Company of Heroes Modern Combat Mod

Hello everybody, I'm new here so don't go off on me if you find it annoying that I posted this thread here.

So I recently downloaded Company of Heroes + Opposing Fronts. Works fine, but I when I tried to apply the Modern Combat mod, it didn't work it just started up the normal game. I found out later that you need a legitimate copy of the game for it to work. I refuse to believe that, my question for you guys is how can I run it with the copy that I have now? I asked this question on Yahoo Answers and it got deleted because of terms violation so I got no help there. If there is a better sub forum for this thread then please move it there.

Yeah, this isn't the same kind of 'piracy' as this forum is about. This one is to discover knock-offs from China and Taiwan or such, and you're talking about pirating software.
