Bootleg Android Games

I think here we can talk about bootleg android games other than makonsoft. So to start off it looks like they somehow got Pokemon black 2 into a an android app. Though I haven't tested it yet myself. :P Here it is.

Edited to add that apparently they have pokemon white 2 also.

This one isnt a bootleg as such, just a fairly standard clone of Temple Run:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Sailfish.PandaRunHD
but its interesting, because the music is the same as the menu music from a Macro Winners/Cube Tech 16-bit handheld I have.. Dunno if theres any connection between the developers, or if it was just some stock/public domain/stolen music they both coincidentally happened to use though.

Those are probably walkthroughs or something. They seem like it.
(also note: I suppose bootleg in this way wouldn't make too much sense, giving Android is open-source. Maybe obscure is the way to go. :) )
EDIT: This bit was replying to what Picro said, BTW.

Wait a moment... Does Pokemon Black 2 has "Banpresto" and "Game Freak" copyrights?!

Oh well. I won't be able to find out what this game is until it installs. My only guess is that it's an official port made exclusively for China, considering how big is the cache the game has to load after installing... And yet the cache download never, never EVER goes farther than 17% on mine.

On the different side of the topic, I've got a couple of YONG YONG games for Android before, via RobGBA.

i'd say it still qualifies as bootleg if its just a shameless ripoff of another game like that "Pokemon Black 2".

I found one game that seems to be about raising pets to make them stronger but the thing is that it incorporates Pokemon like squirtle, charmander and charizard but they all look slightly different than their normal forms. here it is. Also the reason I keep compressing the links into a sentence is because the Google translated links will stretch the page.

Take a look at this one. I guess it's more of the unlicensed kind but it is a weird shooting game where you shoot green squirtles. And also mew though the mew has a tail's tails from the sonic games. It's interesting if not kinda hard to play. Most of the ones I find are either emulated games or guessing games so this is one of the more interesting ones. Here it is.

A while back, there were actual bootlegged Mega Drive and SNES ROMs posted on the Play Store under hilarious knockoff names like "King Batman Fighter". This Hardcore Gaming 101 thread linked to some of the most egregious violations. However, all of the "developers" mentioned in that thread seem to have had their accounts pulled, so clearly Google at least sometimes scans for violations.

Oh wow, that's amazing. That's a REAL pirated Android game. Meh, King Batman Fighter is a better name than "Retieval Mankind's Batman". :P

As a vaguely related aside, here's a video showing some Android tablets and set-top devices from Macro Winners. (Gotta love that they show an emulated game with a cracktro as part of their demo. )

I noticed that all of the games on the Android devices are Mega Drive ROMs. Just wondering, do the bootlegs change the ROMs in any way or is it just the names that are different?
