i was just about to start an article on Hacker International based on the Wikipedia one, but the screenshot there has kinda brought up an issue. namely tits. they do appear in quite a few unlicensed games. so are we gonna be uncensored like wikipedia? or do we want to be family friendly? i honestly don't mind either way, just wondering what everyone else thinks.

That's a good point. I figure most, if not all people who read it wouldn't mind seeing it. (after all, if you knew who Hacker International was then you'd know what to expect anyway) Should probably keep it to a minimum though as I don't think it'd be necessary for most things.

You could probably ask Wikia if you really wanted to, but for now I'd say only include it where necessary like you said.

Mind you, I think we'll probably be moving soon anyway so probably best not to do those articles until we move.

Eh, not really sure as of now. Quadunit404 mentioned that he could host a whole Wiki just for us using MediaWiki and I was kinda thinking about it for a while now.

hmm. how reliable is his hosting? i could host it on drillspirits.net too (i have a test mediawiki install running at the moment, the URL isnt too hard to guess if you wanna see it lol) i just can't guarantee that i'll have enough bandwidth/disk space, and that my cheapo web host won't suffer massive hardware failures/get hacked/delete my account for no reason/etc etc. at least wikia is big enough that that sort of thing is pretty unlikely to happen.

I probably can (depending on how much space all the images and stuff take up, anyway). I'm just not sure if I should. Wikia, for all its faults, is at least massive and pretty reliable - they make regular backups of everything, and you have (for all intents and purposes) unlimited bandwidth and disk space. i'm just some guy with a cheap hosting plan, I wouldnt want everything to get lost just because something unforeseen went tits-up on my end.
