anyone know what the deal is with Wang Pai Hai Zhan? TCL王牌 seems to be a division of the electronics company TCL (or it used to be - their website now has the name "GSD") making power supplies and other relatively boring components, so I have no idea why they would release a game like this.. I guess as a promotional thing?

(edit: although the last remaining "TCL王牌" aka "TCL King" operation seems to have been the components division, it looks like consumer electronics including TVs were sold under that brand name in the past, so it possibly makes more sense in that context.. maybe they made some kind of Famiclone-integrated TV at some point, or maybe it was used for demonstration purposes)

(oh and if you were wondering who actually developed it.. there are graphics for a Mars logo in the ROM)[/quote]just to revive this for a sec.. here's a "Game TV" sold under the TCL王牌 brand: http://web.archive.org/web/20040604180518if_/http://www.tclking.com:80/index/products/othertv/29u186zg.html

it was mentioned on this old forum belonging to YanCheng, a publisher for some Union Bond/Mars stuff, so they probably had a partnership with TCL which led to this game being made.
