Copy protections removed by our good friend D4S.

The archives contain both patched and unpatched versions of the games, as well as pictures of the carts and some other information.

Consider this like a Valentine's Day bouquet, only instead of roses it's an a bouquet of unplayable trash. Enjoy!

Aladdin 2000 (Unl) for SNES/SFC

A Bug's Life (Unl) for SNES/SFC

Aladdin 2000 is indeed unplayable... when its controls are virtually broken >_<

Looks like there's no final boss in Aladdin, just puts you to the titlescreen when you reach the end of the last level.

Thanks for sharing! Now what other SNES pirates are still waiting to be discovered..

[/quote]Yeah, I couldn't believe how cheap that was. Did you notice the thing I was talking about where you can fall through the screen sometimes and you continually jump up until you reach a level platform?

I'm sure there's some other stuff lurking about, probably some MD ports we don't know about yet. I just wish something would end up being actually playable and not crap! All the original SNES releases IMO are virtually unplayable.

I'd like to get ahold of some of Twin Eagles stuff that isn't available, even if they're just sprite hacks. Especially their hack of X-Men VS Street Fighter!

Shall I remove these from the List of Undumped Games?

Since they're dumped, yeah of course :P

I'd do it myself but for some reason just can't figure out how to remove a single game column without either only removing all the text, or ending up deleting the whole table.

Is there anything interesting within in the Aladdin 2000 ROM, like leftovers from other games or an indication of who it came from?

I'd think it was obviously DVS, but they usually have no problems plastering their name all over it and this one doesn't say a thing.

I took a quick look with Tile Molester and found the text DVS inside there somewhere. Couldn't identify anything else though. I know Pokemon GS and Digimon has graphics from A Bug's Life at the end of the rom, and so did Hercules I think? So I expected that, but don't think I recognized anything.

I don't get why they ported over the shitty low jumps from the MD version of Bug's Life. No chance anyone would ever get through the game on the real console. Much like Aladdin :D

Someone added an entry for this on the Wiki and mentioned that it was a port or based on the GBC game. Is this true?

Bug's Life? Yeah it pretty much is. If you look on Youtube you can compare, considering they had to redo the graphics for 16bit they didn't do too bad a job.
