Started tonight on working on a couple stub articles I was hoping to elaborate on in the coming weeks.

I accidentally made a category called "K", an after browsing the wiki I couldn't find a way to remove it.

Could a mod be a dear an remove it for me? And possibly educate my dumb ass on how to delete such errors in the future?

-thanks

You have to remove the category from every page that it's on. so in this case it was only Soul Edge vs Samurai Spirits. If it had a description or anything on the actual category page you'd have to delete that too, but it didn't, so all traces of it should be gone now.

Thanks for the clarification; after looking a bit closer I see how it's done.

OT; but are these relevant or could they be deleted?

http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Where_to_find_these
http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Pokemon_Black (Is this even actually on a bootleg cart, or just a ROM hack?)

Well "Matrix game" is completely irrelevant and "Where to find these" doesn't really belong on the wiki IMO (but I'll leave it there for now if anyone thinks its worth improving).

Pokemon Black is totally fictional (not even a rom hack) but maybe we could keep it if the article makes its origins clearer - its still kind of a part of bootleg gaming history just by virtue of being a famous nonexistent bootleg game. I don't think ChaosBlack should have an article though, it's just a rom hack that was bootlegged in cart form without the hacker's knowledge - there are tons of Pokemon pirates like that on the GBA (I have one called "Frigo Returns"), one article covering all of them would be sufficient.

The "Where to find these" section wouldn't be bad to have, especially with some improvements.  Some of the people that check this stuff out would certainly like to know where to find these games, especially since they're not exactly "mainstream".  I might work on that section tonight or tomorrow.

If the "where to find" entry exists, I think just for the sake of politeness/legality ROM links shouldn't be mentioned.

Maybe post links to a few reputable selling forums? Stating the obvious (look on ebay, look at garage sales) is rather pointless. To find old used games I should look at places that sell old used games? Groundbreaking.

I'm just not sure it's a good idea to have a page saying "hey, here's where you can get some roms". that'd probably be a massive red flag to wikia. Stuff in the Goodsets is common enough that we don't have to mention it anyway, but for hard-to-find/recently dumped games it might be a better idea to just link to the blog post/forum post/wherever from the individual game page.

[/quote]Maybe after listing places to buy actual carts; have something along the lines of  "If you can't find what you're looking for at the above links, try this Wiki's forum" then have a link to here. Vague enough to avoid any legalities, yet broad enough for someone looking for either a physical or digital copy.
