That alternate design exists, as I've seen it in someone's GB collections on here.  From what I heard that site hasn't updated its stock in forever, so it's likely gone.  I'm interested in finding a copy of the game with that cover to see if anything else like the label is changed or whatever (and for collecting's sake) but so far I have yet to see it for sale anywhere else...

I have that version as well.  Manual and cart label are the same, just an updated box.  The box is also a bigger box, whereas the other version comes in a small box.

On a further note, yeah, that website is not current, unfortunately.  While that store does have some of the stuff seen on the site, a lot of it has been sold out as well.
