well I had played some more of it, but my saves disappeared ): i guess my half arsed battery replacement came loose. so i'll probably leave that one until i can get a soldering iron and fix it properly.[/quote]

Don't forget that's it's not a good idea to solder a battery without "arms" because it could explode.

I gotta say I'm impressed about the Final Fantasy IX, not bad at all for a pirate.

Digimon Pocket will probably be next. its kind of a weird one - its definitely V.Fame's engine and at least *some* of their music, but there are a few strange things that make me think they didn't exactly have their A team working on it.

Apparently there's at least one other multicart with Devil Island on it-- this VFame-branded 6-in-1 mentions it in its description, but it's not shown on the cart itself.

yeah, I saw that.. i got my 12 in 1 from the same seller. that's what makes me think it might not have got a single cart release, for whatever reason - it's the only game not shown on the label, so maybe they had no cover art to work from.

different title (惡魔城2 月風魔篇), but unmistakably the same game

Wow. Pretty much all the music in that one is reused from Digimon 3. Or maybe that should be "reused in"-- I still have no idea which one came first. I'd always assumed Digimon 3 came before Pocket just because the battle interface feels more refined in the latter, but who knows...
