Wow, this game's boring.  I wouldn't be surprised if this was some homebrew game, seeing as bootleggers have already bootlegged ROM hacks onto cartridges.  I hope that Azathoth didn't pay much for this game, assuming he bought it.

Looks like a game that should be part of JungleTac's games, as they're boring and simple.

The box art is suitable for framing.

If this homebrew is created far earlier than Sir Taizou's dumped one, this is interesting - Homebrew -> Bootlegged -> Redumped. :P

Judging by the opening paragraph on Taizou's page about this thing, I'm guessing the bootleg was released before 2007.

BTW 2007 was when it was added to PDRoms so maybe it was made earlier than 2007. The readme in the zip of the rom has no saying about the date of when it was made. Who knows?
The creator of the homebrew is NEiM0D and he joined GBAtemp in 2002 and he was last active in 2003. I think it was his 1st post on it :p
creators youtube : http://www.youtube.com/user/neimod looks like a hacker

He made a homebrew called NMOD PLAYER. So maybe this was a test to use his program, as the music in the game has a part of the mod trainer2.

...Honestly, I *really* should've figured out that this game was from the homebrew scene, given the 4KB ROM size.

There've been competitions to write an entire game using only 4KB of ROM. Naturally, this was one of the entries.

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but in the unknown GBA pirates thread I mentioned one going by SUPER TETRIS DELUX that was always listed with an ID # just above Star Wars 3. I don't have the exact link handy but it's a homebrew PD Tetris clone. I think it's even an early version that they use on the cartridge. I find it amazing pirates would waste a whole ROM chip on 4k and not put something else in.

But, I still have 9 copies of Star Wars 3 so the joke is on me.

RobGBA told me of this days ago, on my video of this game. Had a feeling it was a homebrew when I first came across it.
