Retro Arcade FC A6 Plus Question

I figured out, that the file on the SD Card of the Retro Arcade FC A6 Plus is pots.dll
And upon further research, the file is just the regulat pots.dll file you can download off the internet.
i do not understand, how the devil does a standard DLL File for computers act as a games list file?

Have you tried comparing the two files' data via a hex editor? Masking these consoles' necessary files as other kinds of files is common for handhelds to disguise pirated licensed games.
