Not a good idea to announce something that you apparently haven't even started yet. Have you made a game before, know what you're doing?

I tried making a fangame on gamemaker called Sonic Expedition. i gaven up on it beause i cound not make anything in paticular to work and my old flashdrive which everything on the project was on broke. if you go to the video over here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HcLhEuazBI in the description is a list of things i need and have and saying i will send the game file but i cannot because my flashdrive broke. so if you know what your doing you probably can but it takes good expirence in game making.

Well, if you want to, go for it. everything has to start somewhere. maybe you'll finish it, maybe you won't. but hell, you'll probably learn something at least.

If you need any spritesheets, I have a few uploaded on Spriters Resource. (I also have all the maps ripped as well but I never released them)

Sorry for bumping this REALLY (I think) old thread,I can give you a base you can build off of.
On Yoyo game's website,go to games>sandbox,then the giant MAKE button on top.
Click on tutorials (On the left) And scroll down to Platformer game.
