Call me crazy, but I think $70 for Somari is pretty steep. It's not even one of the rarer Hummer Team games from what I've heard.

The World Heroes 2 auction I think confirms one thing I've thought likely so far, which is that there is no Pro version of the game that exists, that's just what the label says on all of them. The game itself always will be the same thing that's dumped that doesn't have Pro in the title anywhere.

The title screen is different, and I believe there's different stages :p

I haven't seen a non-pro cart yet...

Oops, forgot =p Then I suppose the Pro version might be what Taiwan got since it has Chinese on the title. And the other one was distributed elsewhere. Who knows.. What makes you think there's different stages btw?

the Chinese title is in the dumped version too - it shows up if you reset in FCEU, its probably a dip switch on the actual cart. I think I've seen an actual Pro title screen somewhere though.. I remember it having different options, I'm sure. But maybe i'm just imagining things, I dunno, its late.

Two other bits of randomness:

- I'd totally forgotten about this till now despite seeing it before, but I love how Somari Team is spelled as Someri Team on the actual Somari cart. Consistency, who needs it?

- That logo on the Sonic 4 SNES cart is totally a photoshopped version of the Sonic Adventure 2 logo, dating this particular copy to 2001 at the earliest. Also, the pirates can't spell "hedgehog". Edit: The character art also appears to be promotional art from SA2.
Yep, there definitely is a version of World Heroes with the "Pro" title screen-- it's listed on the wiki's Undumped Games list. Here's FCnoTobira's screenshot.

Not surprised there's multiple versions of World Heroes 2, mainly because Cony had a habit of constantly rebranding the same game and adding new characters every now and then, much like EA does with its sports serie. :P

BTW, if they were going to update the game then couldn't they at least fix the "Player Secelt"?

I'm not sure if you noticed, but they actually use both spellings on the cart.

Seems like all copies of both versions say "Pro" on the cart/box though,

When I was in Taiwan I saw a cart being sold of the Pro version that had a white box on the label with the text 加強版 in it. Regret not getting it now :/ I've yet to see that version anywhere else.

Wow, looking at that, Family Kid only sold for 9.99... Thats actually a friggin steal! Yet Somari costed so much more? Wtf? This proves the pirates theory that slapping Marios face on anything more than doubles the original value.. And its not worth spending cash on Somari, its one of the few Pirated games that can have an NES repro cart made for it for less than 30 bucks.

I saved this seller. Id like to see more soon, I need me a multicart!

EDIT: Anyone want a Cony SF pirate? Less than 30 dollars, shipping included.. Im making $13.50 an hour, so im temped... just todays pay could buy it for me, but I dont know.... Hate Cony so much. But if it was Master Fighter or Super Fighter 3, id probably be selfish and not even mention and just nab it up :p I just want to make sure a pirate enthusiast picks this up.... Cause anyone else will be massively dissappointed by the gameplay.
