Hummer Team instrument discovered in licensed GBC game
« on: April 24, 2016, 07:17:29 AM »
So I was trying out the crappy GBC game "N-Sync: Get To The Show" and discovered something strange:

If you wait on the screen where you type in your player's name, you'll hear that the triangle channel is unmistakably Hummer's "wah-wah" instrument.  O_o  As much as you guys hate emulation links, I have no choice but to prove my point with one (it's a flash emulator, so it'll work right away)

...that's not even remotely similar. Even then, it's not that hard to replicate something like that on the NES to begin with. (the triangle channel is quite limited...)

Yes, it is similar, though it is not the same.  The Hummer Team stuff and the Codemasters stuff share quite a few similarities, imo, even though being different.
