[Alternative] AtGames Sega Genesis Portable Game Player 2015 Edition

Hiya! Got this for christmas.

SD card loads .bins, which is cool and all... but.. It doesnt save games and it appears to have not been hacked at all?

I would have assumed people would have jumped on these things to overwrite default firmware and write software to run NES and Game Gear and all sorts of stuff.


Alas, I find nothing.

Is there -anything- else we can do with these puppies besides play "Session Games"?

Also is there anything special about the 2015 edition? It doesn't appear so.

Hardware-wise the 2015 is the same as the previous version just with the addition of the 3 Mortal Kombat games.

Unfortunately no mod exists to patch the SRAM issue. There's a few Russian sites that host some info on creating custom game snapshots and getting problem ROMs to boot, but that's about the extent of fan input you'll find.
