Earthworm Jim 3 > Rayman?

Has anyone hacked Hummer's "Earthworm Jim 3" into an NES quote unquote "port" of Rayman 1? I remember the original was originally intended for the SNES, so it could be based on the SNES prototype. Would it have played like the original?

In my opinion, Earth Worm Jim's gameplay differs too drastically from Rayman's gameplay style. No one's stopping you from trying to import Rayman graphics into EWJ3, but keep in mind, there's also a decent amount of frames that would need to be replaced as well.

Well, I've never played either, but I have seen them being played, so I don't know any better.
