Good luck, i hope you manage to get them both. Be aware that both will have copy protection that will need to be removed before they'll work correctly.

The only bad thing is unfortunately they'll both pale in comparison to their MD counterparts.

I know I've heard that song a million times before. Is it from a MD game redone with the SNES sound driver or from another SNES game? And that cut scene where he punches Lui Kangs' head off, is that in the MD version? If it was I never saw it, but then again I never actually sat down and played the MD version for more than 5 minutes.

Do you still have DBZ for SNES?

yeah is still there sitting, I tried to dump it but it only gave ma a 8mbit .DAT file (with the retrode) and the Super UFO won't recognize the cart.

How else can you dump games like those?

I always used the older type floppy backup units on the SNES stuff and never had any problems with what either Barver or I owned. The one game that I didn't get a complete dump of was Hercules 2. I always made dumps with several different machines in case one didn't transfer correctly and I think that if I had kept my original images it would have worked. I assumed I had a working dump and accidentally deleted all but one image, which I never could get to work and when D4S looked at it he thought it was an incomplete dump since it referred to ROM addresses above what was actually there.

The dump we ended up with for Hercules 2 was 16Mb and I'd about bet anything that is the correct size, just some info cutoff or didn't transfer correctly. The only known unlicensed SNES game that is above 16Mb is The King of Fighters 2000 which was 20Mb. I see no reason for Hercules to be beyond 16 being that it's just a standard port of the MD game and all other MD ports were 16Mb.

Has anyone played that game extensively enough to see that poorly drawn Liu Kang cutscene where Sub Zero punches his head off?

I've owned the game for years but never played it beyond the 2nd level or so due to it being complete rubbish.

Do you still own it?[/quote]I should have worded that better. I own the MD version, which I had never saw that cutscene that was in the video posted above of the SNES version.

MK 2000 has many differences  with the version on SEGA Genesis! My friend has played it for a long time ago, but he remember that SNES game has an additional graphics, one new level and several new enemies. SNES version is bigger the SEGA.
Believe he or not, I do not know! I'm really wait to the time when will be a dump rom release.

Somebody knows is expected to release ROM  in the near future?
