so a Mega Drive game has appeared on Yahoo Japan recently called 數字方塊 (Shuzi Fangkuai), the English title I guess is "Magic Number" judging from the background of the menu screen.

its yet another MD game I've never seen before... and intriguingly it seems to reveal Chuanpu's English name as "Jam Port".

Interestingly, judging from the auction description, this seems to be a Taiwanese knockoff/remake of a Taiwanese original. ("IQ Block" by IGS, specifically.) I wonder if there were any shared developers between the two companies or anything like that.

yeah, I've always wondered if there was ever any crossover between IGS and the various Taiwanese console developers, but I've never been able to find any evidence of a connection... I guess if IQ Block was popular at the time, they might have just cloned it, maybe without even realising it was Taiwanese.

Look here: http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Chuanpu_Technology

It seems that its original name is: Shu Zi Fang Kuai
