Help with Gameshark Pro v3.0?

I know it isn't technically a pirate, but it's in the same zone as Codemasters or Color Dreams/Wisdom tree games.

So, whenn I shove the Shark in my GBC, with a copy of Pokemon (or Animaniacs), it shows the black stripe of death (like if it's without a game) and won't boot.
It boots when a game is put in, so I don't have a clue what's going on.

i have an Action Replay Pro which I think is the European equivalent and its unreliable as hell. from my experience i'd say try blowing on the contacts and wiggling the cart around and *maybe* something might happen.

Goldfinger cassette ?
Compatibility Issues,Part of the host does not work properly , such as China 's gb BOY
