Can you believe it's been over 3 years and I still can't figure this mess out? Am I that stupid?

Somebody's got Heaven Clash/Quiz Fighter up on eBay if anybody's interested

I'd love it for my fighting game collection, but that's out of my price range (plus I still don't have a Gamate anyway)

If anybody here gets it, it'd be great to get HQ scans of the cart and manual

I know this is an old-ass topic, but I've been pondering this for some time now.

Who retains the "rights" to the original characters, programming, etc. after a pirate company goes under. Or are there no "rights" and it's all wild wild... er... east?

Like if you wanted to make a game with Hummer, Q-Boy, and Jacky Lucky and sell it on Steam, how bad would your ass get fried? Would anybody even give a shit?

So looking at Tough Guy...
It's literally TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan.
It's not a clone. It IS that game with very few graphic changes.

Heyyy someone here speaks my language!

I know some Lexibook setups have "Blazing Fighter" and "Sword Soul". I also have a fighter on one of my devices but I forget what it was/was called. It's essentially a bunch of Pocket Fighter recolors and edits lmao

I'll dig that one up and let you know.

Could you imagine a Supervision tabletop console that size?

Ooohh that is good to know. I saw it on a SuperVision box listed by itself, but never saw it myself!

So uh... we gettin' a Super Fighter port for SV?  ;)

Hate to bump this, but it's been almost two years and I can't get it to work still.

I have the newest versions of MAME and MESSUI. MAME doesn't seem to want to detect anything Gamate related. MESS tells me it can't find gamate_bios_umc.bin despite the fact that it's sitting right in the folder I've pointed it to look in.

Bootleg Bazaar / Looking for YD-361A Game Player
« on: March 23, 2018, 05:05:41 AM »
Hi folks!

While doing some cleaning today, I found my old YD-361A.

Yay! Bootleg playing time!  :yay:

Unfortunately, it does not want to turn on at all.  :'(

Yes, I tried new batteries. First thing I did, ha ha

I'm not handy at all so there's no way I can fix it. I'm looking to buy a new one - games not necessary. The only one I see on eBay is going fr like $40 which I think is a bit insane for something that originally cost me a twofer.

Any help? Thanks!

'ey, tops onnis. Very helpful for fighting game fans like myself, especially since these sorts of games are so poorly documented elsewhere.
