Ooh, cartridge based.

Do you know of any other carts that may have been made for it?

Other Pirates / Help running Jang Pung II (GG)
« on: December 22, 2022, 01:55:33 PM »
Hey folks,
I was trying to run the original, unadultered Jang Pung II (no sprite edits, original title screen, .gg file as opposed to the .sms conversion) but the colors come out looking... messy.
I read that this is a result of the Game Gear game running in Master System mode. However, I'm not sure how to get any of my emulations (Meka, Kega Fusion) to run that compatibility.

Is there a way to still run this and preserve the original presentation of the game as-is?

Thanks!

Would love to have a look in that manual and get good scans of those stickers.

You can re-order the pages by number yourself, as I can't be bothered.

Holy cow MOVE LISTS! This is better than I had hoped.

Once again, thank you so much!

Pirated Work / Re: Creating own NES multicarts? and Family BASIC
« on: August 14, 2022, 11:56:26 AM »
I was thinking if I could ever finish any games in NESMaker, I'd make my own compilation cart eventually too, without having to piece all of them together into one game. Alternatively I'd make a compilation outright but it'd be made up of individual games so they could be pieced out like if they ever made it on an Evercade cart or something.

All pipe dream stuff since I couldn't even get one game finished, but it was something I've given thought.

There was a program I came across that was supposed to let you put together a multicart but it didn't allow menu customization, you had to pick from a few popular/recurring menu types from other multicarts. I can't remember what it was though.

Here's a complete Dinosaur Park

Again, no Gamate or funds for this (especially now for the latter), but this would be a preservationist's dream. Would love to have a look in that manual and get good scans of those stickers.

Got a PCP-936 cheap AF on eBay, this scratches several itches of mine at once
*Bootleg
*Proprietary cartridge (even if fake)
*Compilations
*Fighting games

Currently trying to track down all the different versions of King Boxing. This version has different characters from the one I have on my YD handheld, which in turn is different from the one in Stuart Ashen's LTPS Handy Game review (from almost 11 years ago to the day!) The Wiki also states that there's versions on the 1.8 Handhelds, which means there's ones in color?

Famicom/NES / GameKids Advance
« on: February 03, 2021, 06:32:14 AM »
Hello,
So I picked up a GameKids Advance, and I had no trouble getting the LCD contents to work. However, I can't get the NES stuff (even using the Famicom adapter) to show up on my TVs or Dazzle video capture device. I've got the EURO/US mains adapter and the device turns on with the little green light active, but nothing appears on the screens when plugged in via the component cables.

Is there something I might potentially be doing incorrectly?

Thanks!

I thought someone dumped some DreamGear stuff before but for some reason the search function isn't functioning the way I want it to right now.

Today's update:

When I discovered that the UK version of the game.com Internet package featured a slightly different box, manual, and cartridge label than the US version, not to mention additional inserts, my initial reaction was, “No. NO! NOOOOO!!” I bought it anyway, knowing full well I'd have to scan everything. Yuck. But now the dirty deed is done, and the downloads are waiting for you over on the scans page.

And we love you for it, man.

That thing looks impossible to play.

You got a list of what's on it?
