2000-present / JY-130, real JY or not?

On the left I notice "OK8803." I'm guessing 03 means 2003 but whatever the rest is, I have no idea.

Well it's entirely possible for a developer to work for two publishers at the same time. theres no reason Hummer would have to be tied to either JY or NT and not work for the other one. although the fact that their last two games for JY don't have original music and one of them is credited to "Jing Tay Team" makes me think there was still a split around 1998 or so.
Based on that, I'd say Hummer Cheng left them before TTA6 and FF3, which would explain why the company was renamed and why they stole the music from other games.

"I recently found a 4-in-1 multicart which when booted up brings up a screen with a logo and a website for Abab Soft. Using the Wayback Machine, I found that they seemed to have been active from 2003 to 2005, here's a link to what their website was like."
Oh, I meant I found a rom of it, and screenshots of it can be found on the website. I have a link to it here. http://www.planetemu.net/index.php?section=roms&dat=715&action=showrom&id=980304 Strangely, when translated from Chinese (you have to change the website into Chinese mode to get text) the multicart claims that the games on the cart are based off TV shows. Mind you, I've never heard of Panda Adventure and Snow Bros. cartoons myself.

I'm not sure, but I guess you can try asking Gil Galad if you want.
Eh, Gil Galad rips NSFs unless I'm missing something here.
Of course, a real "duh" moment on my part.

Thunder Blast Man is colour though. I don't think they would have taken a step backwards and made Rockman 8 in mono after that.
Of course. I forgot about that. I'd say that makes sense for Rockman 8 to be first but if Sachen used the engine afterwards then would that mean Yong Yong was associated with them?
