Famicom/NES dumps / Re: Lethal Weapon
« on: January 16, 2020, 01:59:51 PM »
MMC1 is completely out of the question, because the game requires an IRQ counter that the MMC1 does not possess.
MMC3 might be possible, but requires a great deal of hacking.
Attached find my mapper hack for mapper 25.

The "newbie" grade probably depends on your post count, not how long you have been registered.

Thanks! I'll see about grabbing a VRC4 pcb to try this out :)

Racer Mini Yonku is actually much cheaper to get ahold of versus Gradius 2 or Ninja Turtles and I think I might
be able to get one from a seller close to me. It's VRC4 and has 128k PRG and CHR so it should work with your
mapper 25 hack you just posted correct?

Again, thanks so much for your help. You are very kind.

if it's had any sort of mapper hack to something common like in the 8 years since this thread was last active?
I can make a mapper 25 hack, which should run on common flashcarts.

Any chance of mapper 1 or mapper 4 if I say pretty please? I don't own any flash carts. Just a couple multicarts and I fill in the blanks with one offs I build for myself.

EDIT: I'm hoping for mapper 1 or mapper 4 cause MMC1 and MMC3 are so much easier boards to find for me personally.

EDIT #2: Mapper 25 is Konami VRC4b & VRC4d So I could use Ninja Turtles (j) or Gardius 2 (j) for use on real hardware correct? Would still be a lot easier for me to work from an MMC1 or MMC3 hack but I have no idea which it's closer to or if that is even possible. The mention of Mapper 25 lends to it being closer to MMC5 right? I say that as bio miricle baby upa was a VRC mapper game and it was converted to MMC5.

EDIT#3: Funny I'm still listed as a noob member but I've been here off and on for 7 years! lol

Necrobump here I know, sorry.  Does anyone know what mapper this is using and\or if it's had any sort of mapper hack to something common like in the 8 years since this thread was last active?  NESmapperProgram can't recognize it and thinks it's Mapper 0 NROM but clearly its not. Was really hoping for a mapper 1 or 4 conversion to play on real hardware.

It's basically NROM, but with an MMC3 mirroring write. So you can run it as mapper 0 or mapper 4.

What do you think would happen on real hardware though using a real NROM pcb?

Also part of Project Plug and Play.

Thank you very much.

EDIT: So is the (FC) version a standard MMC3 mapper?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has a link to a single game rom of Mad Xmas?
Would be great if it was a common mapper or mapper hacked version.

Thanks :)

Hey Guys,

Has this Lethal Enforcers 2 in 1 Korean pirate cart been dumped? I've never seen it before, nor can I find any info on it.

I think it's an original game. But some other games by this company are hacks.. like "Super Hang-on 97" is an extensive hack of Highway Star (Rad Racer).
Super Hang-on 97 of the original game did not working, ROM Super Hang-on 97 f1 is decrypted
then maybe you can ask the person who decrypted it? the ROM I have is called "[GD-97] 97' Hui Gui Gang Jing La Li Sai (C)_fix", I think it was dumped by 惊风.
yes,惊风
My friend (惊风)and I analyzed this game Is Blood Of Jurassic\Jurassic Hunt!!

partial decryped by 惊风
Great news! Can't wait to get a copy when you finish getting it working.
Ready to publish on www.nesbbs.com, my own BBS

In fact, I do not want to publish , I do not know , and I grab the dumper idea of what cards people
A 10NT game , I 1200NT bid,Become ROM, think how many cards as you can
I think I get what your saying is it's a $5 game you spend $40 on and you don't
want to just give away the ROM is that correct? Forgive me if I read wrong as
I can see english is not your first language.

If thats the case that you feel your loosing out on monies you spent, I've done the
same thing myself more than once. Heck I buy games sometimes just to dump them
and release them to the public for free. The cart will always be worth more than
a binary dump or reproduction cartridge so you don't have to worry about that.

And heck if your happy with just having the binary you could always re-sell the cart
for around the same as you paid cause now you have the rom to play :)

Hope this makes sense.
