The Big Old Arcade / AVGN Kid Kool Revew
« on: August 11, 2011, 12:19:37 PM »
I was going to pick up a copy of Kid Kool one day the next time I go to the flea market. After watching this, I'm going to have second thoughts before buying this.

Discussion Center / 90s Nick Programming on Teenick
« on: July 30, 2011, 03:09:28 AM »
Has anyone else noticed this great news going on this past week on Teenick? Viacom decided to air some of their good 90s series every weekday at midnight since this past week. Here's what it looks like so far:

12AM: All That
12:30AM: Kenan & Kel
1AM: Clarissa Explains it All
1:30AM: Doug

I'm as excited as punch to see this all return, and hopefully some other series in rotation as time progresses! Any opinions folks? I feel like I'm back in the 90s again.

Other Pirates / Generic Wii clone thread

I saw a Zone 60 console at a flea market recently, and got it for 15 bucks.
I cracked up when I saw Mr. Frosty (from Kirby's Adventure) in that Hot Drop game, as well as that Mario figure with the pirate suit in Jewel Fever 2, and Bunearies in Ice Climber. :P

There's some vaguely-familiar pink-haired figure in that Surf Adventure game that sort of mystifies me for some reason, and unsure of what game she was ripped off from or who she really is. I took a screenie off of Tweeterman287's video commentary of the Zone 60 for emphasis on this:

I apologize for the blurry quality since I screencapped this, but no one bothered to notice her when Tweeterman287 went to the next game.

EDIT: I took a better (and closer) shot of her in farmhousemedia3000's video of this, if that helps:

Other Pirates / Street Neo Fighter II - The World Warrior

I have never seen an MSX2 bootleg before.

If you ask me, this looks like a pretty decent Street Fighter bootleg in my opinion. Not to mention that this is clearly a step up from those NES Street Fighter like games to be honest. Excellent find SUPERSONICDUDE91!  :pandahappy:

I have never seen an NES action platformer this awesome or innovative since either Ufouria: The Saga, Mr. Gimmick, or Kirby's Adventure. I don't mind two levels, but seeing this makes me want to play this title badly!

I saw someone talking about this at another forum I go to, and I thought that it may be a fun idea to ask all of you about computer games you used to play when you were a kid.

For me, I used to have fond memories of playing such games like Reader Rabbit, Math Blaster, the Jump Start games, and some of Humongous Entertainment's games (Putt-Putt, Let's Explore with Buzzy, Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam, Backyard Sports, etc.) when I was back at the collaborative and elementary school, among some others I forgot about ages ago.

How about you, are there any computer games you played when you were little?

Cheetahmen

And just because I felt like it, here's a ripoff of Gundam, made by the non-copyright infringing "Ben Di".[/quote]Is it me, or is that the most angelic Gundam ripoff I've ever laid my eyes on?
Great find Cheetahmen! :D

Thanks for that Taizou.
Two birthday boys today, Brydo and Neomysterion. I still find this a coincidence myself, even though we're born three years apart.
