Yo, just a quick bump here. But I was wondering how this idea was coming along.
I don't want it to sink too fast. xD

A week late and complete with fresh audio issues because I wanted to give you something better, I bring you a couple of riffs on some brand spanking new bootleg ROMs. =D

Points for effort, I suppose. =3

I think he means it's so expensive that no one wants to dump it and then just give it away for free =p Perhaps in ten years the value will go down and it won't matter than if the ROM is available.

Though one way to get the value to go down to begin with is a ROM begin available heh. I'm still perplexed as to why this pirate's worth so much. Seems like a pretty dumb one that's only got such a name for it because it's a "porn" game(doubt it really has that much in it) with a mispelling of Mario's name. Boring IMO.
^This statement a thousand times over.

But seriously, I'd rather pay for the common pirates then this piece of overpriced BS. x3
I played it, it was dull and...well..."ze sexies" were unrewarding as all hell. I'd rather play Honey Peach from Sachen. At least that had Rock-Paper-Scissors and some pretty epic tunage...

oh, and porn but eh. =3

I must say, that's a curious yet wonderful hobby :D Great artwork over there, and nice blog. Hope we see you more around here! :)
^This

But yes, seriously, these are pretty damn awesome. I didn't know you could squeeze the Ristar and Sonic 3 title screens on the NES and I'm glad to be shown that you can. =3

Samuri: Hummer's excite and challenge plug 'n play system.  It make you more intelligent from the playing.  Game over.  Oh, and it's a PAL system, which doesn't do much good for me because I'm in the U.S. and it doesn't display properly on my TVs.  Damn.  :(
I think we might soon have some business to discuss once again, Watari. i know! D: i wonder why Sintax loved it so much - they've used plenty of superior stolen soundtracks across their various games but they always seemed to come back to Lemmings in the end.
Donkey Kong 5 has a damn fine soundtrack in my opinion. Sintax! Why u no reuse good music? Why must you throw the same two Lemmings tunes at me over and over again? They're repetitive as all hell too. D=

Hey, this actually looks pretty-AUGH GAWD NO. NOT THAT MUSIC AGAIN. Dx

But seriously though, this isn't half bad. A bit stiff and it's annoying that most enemies take more then one hit. But all in it, it'd be fine if it wasn't for THAT MUSIC.  >_<

Pirate Talk / Good pirate games
« on: September 23, 2012, 04:51:38 AM »
Firstly, welcome to the forums and the wonderful world of bootlegs! =D
Secondly, ohhh I could pretty much recommend pretty much everything from Super Game with the exceptions of Pocahontas Part 2 and their version of MK3. But that's just personal opinion there. x3

After a somewhat laboured and stressful production period in which I tried to implement many ideas that were waaaaaay above my ability to perform, I finally decided to do what I did best for 10 or so minutes: talk about shit! And balls, mighty blue bawls.

And yeh, naff it, I'll keep posting these here. Might as well. xD
Hope you guys enjoy! :D

You can thank Google Translate for butchering that one. Do you want me to fix it?
Yes, do it!  :D
Bootleg games can mess many things up in their translations...but WOE BE TO THEM if they mess up the GLORIOUS NAME of KAGE-008!    :pandaaway:

I know I haven't been here long, but I'd like to be in!

I hope this game makes it far. If I remember correctly, there's been a couple other PGC games made by other members, but they didn't go past the first one or two levels.
Yong Yong's Revenge is coming along nicely actually. Can't reveal too much though, as a tester I've gotta be all hush-hush.

Just thought I'd share this as I thought it was incredibly stupid that it even exists.

Found this a few months ago. The really crap (Even by bootleg standards) cut and paste label proclaims it to be Barbie: Storymaker which was a PC only release.

Was hoping there would be something cool on the actual cart but it's just a bootleg of Barbie: Supermodel.

I've seen my fair share of bootlegs but usually it's something a lot more popular than this. I guess perhaps they were trying to tempt young girls into the slippery slope of asian knock-offs?

Just thought it was kinda funny.
Wow, that's lazy...not particularly bad. But lazy. xD
