Oh, I figured that those may have come from the people making the carts. The warranty sticker on my cart has the letters AM on it, as well as some sort of checklist that is represented with numbers.
Those stickers are put on by the retailers, to mark the purchase and warranty.  That's why they placed them over the screws, to prevent folks from opening the carts.  These typs of things are still placed today on products, by retailers, for the same reasons.

I used to have one like that, though it had a different box.  No idea what the name was, either.

I have an extra 120 in 1 cart with this game on it.  $30 shipped it's yours, if you are interested.
i dont want weird multicarts for nes, i want the single rom of this game
I doubt that a single ROM would even exist, and besides that, it's for Famicom, not for NES, silly boy.  Such entitlement among people these days, oh wait, it's always been that way with ROM collectors.

Calm down, Please! You'll get your rips soon; Rushing won't help.
yeah, but why i was angry, is the reason that you and your friend argued about something outside the topic, i CAN wait, but not over an month, i know, that not even a week elapsed, since i am begging for this rom, but how long do i actually have to wait? (not trying to say that i want to rush more on purpose)
honestly you can wait a thousand years, no one owes you a rom of anything - especially since the game already is dumped and all you're asking for is someone to hack it into a more convenient form for your own purposes, i seriously doubt it's life-or-death urgent that you get to play it on a GBA

you have 3 choices really
- keep waiting and hope someone is nice enough to extract the game for you
- try to help the process along somehow e.g. by learning a little about how this stuff works and figuring out where the Polk data might be in the ROM
- do it yourself

hanging around here bugging everyone about these roms isn't helping anything whatsoever. don't be rude to people who are just having a conversation about the subject of the thread - this is the Famicom/NES general forum, not the "everyone drop everything and help kelvin donna find some roms" forum.
Thank you.
Double thank you.

I don't care if the bloke is 14 or 80, rudeness is something I don't appreciate, when folks are trying to help OP out.

I mean seriously, an angry emoticon, for offering to sell the guy an original cart with the means of playing the game.  Rude.

Famicom/NES dumps / 120-in-1 Waixing Multicart + ROM

Wang Fei is a famous singer born in Hong Kong.  Maybe those notes are an inside joke reference to her, or maybe the programmer and musician happen to share the same name, who knows.

I have an extra of this 120 in 1 multicart, if anyone wants, btw.  $30 shipped takes it.

Bumping this one back up, let's hear some answers please.  Personally, this is why I am not a big fan of BGW (besides the fact that they swiped my pictures and information so many times, without even asking about it) - so many generalizations and big claims are made, with little evidence to back it up, especially with much evidence pointing in contrary directions.  Then when asked about it, just met with silence.

Tisk tisk, you guys need to read my blog more often:

https://fcgamer.wordpress.com/2015/06/24/the-game-king-has-become-a-god/

Five of the six games on that handheld were released on a plug n play by Timetop, on a 7 in 1 machine.  "Magic" is not included on my machine, instead including  Crazy Speed and Bomb Boy.  I don't think this was ever meant to be a Game King spiritual predecessor, since they had been putting these games onto plug n plays for TV sets/

Yeah I had seen those articles before, and I own this game on a multicart (was there ever actually a single cart release of it?  I've never seen one).  I had never mentioned anything of it though, since I was hoping to do a special about it in my book.

I had a chance to get one of these, but passed after seeing the word 16 bit.  Think I should go back and get it?

1984-1992 / fcgamer copy cart page
« on: June 17, 2017, 02:19:35 PM »
I spent the last few days creating this simple blog; I created this for my own needs (i.e. so when I find bootleg games in the wild, I can quickly compare and see if it is an upgrade to one I already own or not), and also to showcase to some friends and fellow collectors, who have an interest.

https://fcgamercopycart.wordpress.com/

I am not trying to do anything fancy here, and I want the blog to look amateurish, as it fits the theme nicely I think.

As some of you here know, I am trying to collect a "complete" set of bootleg Famicom games, whatever that may mean (there are so many games that most likely were never bootlegged, it is hard to even define this set of games).  If someone wants to trade games that I don't have, I have tons of stuff for sale I would glady trade too.

Enjoy!

Incorrect: these are Sachen games, which were then licensed to Kuk Je Academy.

Yeah, thanks for pointing it out.  Kuk Je is on the cartridges themselves.

I don't think I will update that guide anymore anyways though; it is missing a lot of entries, and I am concentrating now on a physical / updated version, with a lot more information, pictures, and detail.  If things go as planned, that one should be out by this time next year.  :)

I find it plausible that all of the multicarts came CIB, although I cannot personally confirm it.  Some of the carts that had been used as pack-ins, also had boxed versions available.
