Stumbled across a Youtube video of this the other day, the cart is labeled "Street Fighter Zero 2000" (and also 64m..... yeah right). The full title screen displays "Street Fighter EX Zero 2000: Champion Edition".

The guy doesn't actually play the game, he just lets it run through the demo for about a minute. It doesn't have the Capcom or Sega logos nor does it have the skyscraper intro. My first reaction was that it was just another hack of the Turbo beta like SF III: 18 People. However once the title screen fades out it shows Ryu's bio in Japanese, which the beta does not have and could only be taken from the commercial release of the Japanese Special Champion Edition (or SFII' Plus as it's named in Japan).

Because he never played the game it's impossible to tell what's been changed gameplay-wise. The title screen also has a copyright date of 1999-2000 and from the condition of the cart it looks brand new.

Has anyone ever seen or heard anything about this? I have an unhealthy obsession with SFII and I'm intrigued to find out if this is something beyond a crappy title screen hack.
Oh, i clearly understand your obssesion with Street Fighter. i paid a lot for the SFEX SNES game this christmas XD

In the description of the video the uploader says "the chinese people only change the title screen in this one"

Greetings!

Super Famicom/SNES / Some info of Street Fighter EX, SNES versoin :3
« on: December 22, 2014, 08:09:19 PM »
Hello, every one! It's been a long time. :)

I've return to the bootleg stuff now my SNES finally resurrected. As some of you can remember, i was very, very interesed (or i'll say, obsessed XD) with the bootlegs Street Fighter games for the 16bits nintendo console. Last week a guy from my own city told me about his business making SNES/NES/MD repro carts, so finally i manage to get a physical copy of Street Fighter EX for SNES.

(my copy of Street Fighter EX along with my other SNES bootleg fighter, Tekken 2)

Here are some quick notes i want to share with all of you about the game itself;
1.- Game plays A LOT better with an SNES controller
2.- There are a special maneuver every character share, which somehow instantly take down your opponent. With the buttons of punch and kick simultaneously, it works somehow like the guard break of the original SFEX's game
3.- Some attacks works in the same fashion of the original Arcade/PS1 gamein the meaning of the commands combination, like Chun Li's spinning bird kick, or Ryu Tatsumaki EX-style

If i manage to get more info about it, i'll let you know ;)
When i get the chance i will ask to the guy to make another repro, this time from the Xmen vs Street Fighter SNES rom :3

PD: someone have any info about the SNES projecto f SFII vs Xmen of Twin Eagle Group?

Greetings!

Super Famicom/SNES / I'm Back, with SNES' Tekken 2 (and a question) :D

I've wondered about this for a long time myself. The SNES and MD versions both have projectiles but I've never once pulled one off, even by accident.

All of the other 16-bit fighting games use the standard quarter circle and half circle moves to do the specials. Maybe where Tekken 1/2 was the first one it didn't implement that yet?
Same to me. The fact is those special attacks take near of 1/3 of the opponent's energy bar, more than any other kind of attack.

Few years ago, i fall from the third floor of my house to the very first floor. Al least, my arms and the ladder of the first floor (and a vital message of my years in the wrestling school) saves me of the dead.

Super Famicom/SNES / I'm Back, with SNES' Tekken 2 (and a question) :D

Hello everybody!

I'm returning to this forum after a looong absence, and i'm not returning alone... i come with a request!! XDDD

Well, my question is this; finally few weeks ago i get a copy of Tekken 2 for the SNES (cheap price, without having to order to another country :D ), so i played it and actually i like to play it. Of course is not perfect but is a funny challenge, and is a pirate fighter, so i'm ok with that.

But the thing is i want to know of to pull the commands for the "special" moves of the characters in the game. I tried with many of the regular button sequences, beign unsuccesfull. So, if you known how to and you want to share it, i will be very grateful.

That's all.

Saludos!/
Greetings!

"street fighter all-in-one"

music for my ears.

Sounds very interesing, specially with unknown and unlicensed games that aren't avaliable for many collectors, as Clock Tower or the pirate Street Fighter games.

Now, if you're selling carts for 150 mexican pesos, what in my country are 5506 chilean pesos, it's are more cheap than an original bad game XD

80% of the Street Fighter One/II Ports under the US Gold era. Most of them are pure garbage...many of the pirate ports of the NES are better than those!
