Updated list to include Rex Soft. Also weren't there Mars games made in 1999 like Pokemon Red? (I don't know the dates of the others)

Anyway Ramar or Tony Tech are related to Ei-How Yang in anyway?

1984-1992 / strangeness about Street Fighter II..

I know that, I'm just pointing out how usually the XOXO versions have the Yoko's blocked out by Chinese letters.

The other thing I find weird is that it isn't the "XOXO Soft" version which also removes the Yoko. Also if this helps, Master Fighter VI' has the "Yoko" in Chun-Li's level.

Huh, that's odd. The fact that the "Yoko's" on the title screen are still around, I kinda want to say Master Fighter II because it makes more sense if the Chinese text got edited into Yoko instead of the other way around.

Famicom/NES / Please rename each sub part
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:08:11 AM »
All right, sub-forum and the list are fixed. I did the list pretty late at night so I wasn't thinking right at the time. Copyright dates, I'm going to need. Mind telling me them?

Cony and EHY = same...

And what's the point to put 2 different Cony list for the same company ?

And we aren't sure that Harry's Legend was programmed by EHY.[/quote]Oops, the double Cony was an accident on my part.

Pirated Work / Super Mari War 5
« on: August 01, 2010, 04:56:35 PM »
Ok, introduction to Super Mario War first. Super Mario War involves jumping on the other player (like in all Mario games) but this a fighting-type sort of game so you're in an arena-type area. There's also ? Blocks that give you power-ups, donut blocks that make you fall, ice blocks, etc. There's other modes like Stomp where you kill the enemies from Mario games to gain points and Capture The Flag. This game is highly customizable. You can make your own maps, skins and heck, change the game's graphics and sound.

This is a mod of Super Mario War that turns it all NES pirate-like. I tried to make it Mario-based, using Somari and NESSMW stuff (along with some DK pirated stuff)

Things to point out:
Skins don't focus just on the Mario games, it'll also focus on others like Sonic, Street Fighter, etc.
I don't recommend using the world editor. That was a pain to edit the graphics and all that.
MODTHANKS contains some stuff I borrowed for the mod that I put in.
Skin Info describes what the skins are based off of and a brief description about the game.
Although I have posted Super Mari War 5's final version in many other places, this one fixes some inaccuracies and the music as well. The skins that were originally hidden are now default.
