Removed Moves
- Any move dealing with abilities, friendship or double battles most likely didn't survive. The mechanics for these are absent in this port.
- Any move that could be learned only by Gen II/III Pokemon (with the exception of non-event legendaries) did not survive. Exceptions include:
- Grasswhistle (Bellsprout, Weepinbell)
- Octazooka (Horsea, Seadra)
- Tail Glow (Bellsprout, Weepinbell)
- Grasswhistle (Bellsprout, Weepinbell)
- All trapping moves with the exception of Clamp.
- Attract (Lack of genders and the fact no one knows it by level up implies this move did not get added in.)
- Blast Burn and Hydro Cannon (Despite some Pokemon being able to learn Frenzy Plant by level up, these two aren't learned by anyone)
- Blaze Kick (Only 1st gen Pokemon that could learn it was Hitmonlee but he uses his Gen 2 level up moveset)
- Bone Rush (Cubone and Marowak lose this for Earthquake)
- Comet Punch (Only Pokemon capable of learning it can't learn it through level up by the time they're found and there's no move reminder)
- Disable (Kadabra learns Calm Mind instead of Disable.)
- Glare (Arbok learns Growl instead)
- Hail, Rain Dance, Sandstorm, Sunny Day (the fact all their TMs got replaced pretty much implies none of these moves survived.)
- Haze (Arbok and Weezing had this replaced)
- Mist
- Light Screen (The TMs for it was removed and Zapdos learns Thunderbolt instead of Light Screen.)
- Powder Snow (Only Pokemon capable of learning it can't learn it through level up by the time they're found and there's no move reminder)
- Rage (Charmander has Dragon Rage instead of Rage.)
- Razor Wind (no one knows it through level-up in FR/LG and there's no alternate way of learning it)
- Reflect (TM for it was removed, Articuno learns Sheer Cold instead.)
- Safeguard (TM was removed, Moltres knows Bounce instead.)
- Slam (Pikachu had this replaced with Mach Punch)
- Slash (Sandshrew and Sandslash learn Rock Tomb instead of Slash.)
- Softboiled (Chansey doesn't get this)
- Spike Cannon
- Overheat (TM for this didn't survive)

- Clamp - Acts as a normal attack.
- Crush Claw - Has 100 accuracy.
- Double Kick - Does 60 damage in one hit.
- Dragon Rage - 40 BP (damage is not fixed)
- Focus Punch - Two-turn move like Razor Wind. (You do not flinch from taking damage either.)
- Future Sight - Two-turn move like Razor Wind
- Growl - Has 90 accuracy
- Guillotine, Horn Drill - Unknown if these are true one-hit ko moves; these have a BP of 255 where Sheer Cold and Fissure have a BP of 0 and still kill in one hit.
- Karate Chop - Has 90 accuracy
- Low Kick - 50 BP, 90 accuracy. Stats are identical to Low Kick's 1st gen stats.
- Nightmare - Seems to be a complete clone of Shadow Ball with a different name.
- Psywave - Seems to be a complete clone of Psychic with a different name.
- Secret Power - Any effects this move had have been removed.
- Transform - ...does not transform, it does something but it's not clear.
- Twinneedle - Does 50 damage in one hit.
- Toxic - Mostly with TM compatibility, it is NOT compatible with every Pokemon that is capable of learning TMs.
- Vital Throw - Two-turn move like Razor Wind
