Literally EVERY SINGLE VERSION I find of it online crashes upon picking Ryu. The only working version is on my KinHanK Super Console and I have no knowledge on how to transfer that to my computer.

No matter which emulator you use (It even happens Genesis Plus GX the most accurate emulator), it will always crash when you have Ryu (1P) go up against Ryo Sakazaki (2P/COM). When using Ryo (1P) against Ryu (2P/COM) it doesn't crash. I even tried a different ROM and still get the same result. It's probably a bug in the game. Obviously, KOF98 for Mega Drive was rushed by the end of the year. Unfortunately it happens on a KOF2000 title screen hack too.

So I recently started digging around my multicarts and found a strange version of Pokemon Gold on one of them and was wondering if anyone has heard of it. It seems to be a ROM hack of the English version of Pokemon Gold but with the intro being changed along with the dialogues and the Pokemon not having their official names. The game displays "Pokemon World" on startup instead of the Gamefreak logo and Nintendo's credit has been replaced by "PiKACHU". Is this a known hack in the community? I'm going to try and document this with a page on the wiki so if anyone has any further information on the game I'd appreciate it.

Also here's some pictures I took of the startup sequence and the screen where you choose your name (notice how the font is smaller but bold, compared to Pokemon's usual font).

This is quite interesting. This is Japanese version of Pokemon Gold, not the US/European version BTW.

I downloaded some roms and when I used Nestopia plus or Nestopia it gives me this error "Doesn't support mapper 134" and another Rom gives this  "Doesn't support mapper 435" so I need a nestopia plus which added those supported mappers

Are you using the latest version of Nestopia Plus!? If not, what version  of Nestopia Plus! are you using? Have you tried Nestopia Plus! 1.4.0.23 R693? I haven't used it yet though......
No I haven't either . That's the version of Nestopia plus I've been looking for.  I can't find a link to download it . Do you have a link ?

I have tested the ROM of the properly dumped version of Pokemon Gold (Pikachu Inc. translation) on bgb 1.12 and it works great along with the English Title Screen version of Pokemon Green (pirate translation).

UPDATE 2023年4月21日: I decided to reupload ROM and label it as [f2] because I didn't know there was a cracked rom by Ken Xie (back in 2006年) that was cracked to play on Gens but not on Kega Fusion or flash carts and was an [f1] before I even crack the ROM myself back in 2017年. So, I decided to make an [f2] ROM with the correct Checksum and it works now on Kega Fusion 3.51 and above and an Everdrive-MD.

UPDATE 2023年6月1日: I decided to upload a cracked rom of Ken Xie's crack of KOF99 ROM that works on Kega Fusion 3.51 and above and an Everdrive-MD.
