Bootleg Bazaar / Looking to buy NES/Famicom & Genesis Pirates
« on: January 05, 2014, 09:35:36 PM »
I'm still looking for any NES, Famicom, and Genesis/Mega Drive games (pirate originals and hacks only.) The other sales threads seem dead, so let me know if you have any of this stuff for sale.

Famicom/NES / Roms
« on: May 28, 2013, 07:53:45 PM »
I know that rom begging is frowned upon, but I've searched all the rom sites and I don't have enough. I need roms of unlicensed/HK original/hacked NES games. I have 171 of them, and I'd like to get 200 for a multicart. They must be out there... let's see them!

Famicom/NES / Some Random Pirate Game Questions
« on: April 15, 2013, 09:23:48 PM »
Just some questions I have about certain pirated and unlicensed NES games.

1. What was Sachen's relation to Color Dreams and American Video Entertainment? Was it anything more than just another company they bought shitty games from?
2. Who made F-15 City War? And why doesn't the title screen have anything besides the title?
3. Who made Fifa 97 International Soccer? And is it just a title screen hack, or was anything else added?
4. Are The King of Fighters 97 and 99 just title screen hacks of 96?
5. Why is Honey Peach called that even though Peach isn't in it?
6. Is Little Red Hood unfinished, or does it just really suck?
7. Who made Pesterminator? That game is horrible even for a Color Dreams release.
8. What about Pokemon Green, Blue, Gold and Silver? What games are they hacks of?
9. Did Water Chine, Inc. do anything else besides Tiny Toon 4?
10. Is Twin Eagle: Revenge Joel's Brother a legit game or a pirate?

I'm sure there are others, but until then... Can you answer any of these?

Bootleg Bazaar / I need a broken Famicom cartridge
« on: March 31, 2013, 09:47:53 AM »
I just opened up my Supervision 76-in-1 to get the Famicom-to-NES adapter inside. But now I can't use it, because the bare circuit board wobbles around in my FC Twin.
I'm going to hack up a Winter Games cartridge to put the adapter in, but I need a Famicom cartridge to put the Supervision board in. Does anyone have an empty or non-working Famicom cartridge that I can put this thing in?

Or just a Famicom to NES adapter. That would work too.

BootlegGames Wiki / I need some help at the wiki
« on: March 15, 2013, 01:56:58 PM »
I just created a page for 'Family Games,' a CD containing some pirated software (including Bubble Bobble.) However, I called it 'Action Games' by mistake.  :$

Can someone fix the title for me so I can create the page for Action Games?

Game Boy / Motocross Maniacs
« on: December 07, 2012, 08:22:31 AM »
I currently own three GB multicarts, all of which have Motocross Maniacs on them. But I'm sure that at least once, I've started the game and got 'Motocross Maniac' instead, no S. Is this something that's known to exist? A bootleg of MM with no S?

2000-present / Super Joy III
« on: November 18, 2012, 11:08:55 AM »
I found this... thing at Value Village yesterday.
http://z4.ifrm.com/static/1/doc.png
I bought it because of this cartridge port on the back.
http://z4.ifrm.com/static/1/doc.png
I thought maybe I could plug a game into it, and that was the purpose. But I was wrong...
http://z4.ifrm.com/static/1/doc.png
This is what I saw when I plugged it into my TV. I guess that's the brand.
http://z4.ifrm.com/static/1/doc.png
And then this popped up! 76,000 games, you say? I doubt it... but so far they're all different.
http://z4.ifrm.com/static/1/doc.png
Still more different games.
http://z4.ifrm.com/static/1/doc.png
This is where it starts to repeat. If there's one thing I don't like about this thing, it's the menus. It starts to repeat games on this screen, but the next few pages still have a few new games mixed in.

Now let's check out some of the more interesting games...

It also came with a gun, which is useless because there aren't any gun games on it.

« on: June 18, 2012, 06:58:11 AM »
I just found a lot of SNES games on Kijiji, and noticed that some of them look at bit off.
What's going on with Super Mario World, Super Tennis, and Super Ghosts and Ghouls? The bottoms of the cartidges look different.

Game Boy / A few GB Multicarts...
« on: May 05, 2012, 09:13:09 AM »
A while ago, I found an ad on Kijiji for a "Gameboy light and 290 games" for $50. It turned out to be a rare system, 2 multicarts, and Tetris. Other than Action 52 these are the first multicarts I've ever seen. I need some information: where they might be from, who made them, and what are they worth?

The first one is called "Sports 228 in 1." The cartridge is very light and cheaply made. It also looks newer than the other two. The label says "New version for all" and has pictures of many games, including Side Pocket, NBA Jam, WWE Superstars, FIFA Soccer, and "Olympics."
Here's a list of the indvidual games on it:
1. FIFA 98
2. NBA Jam
3. Golf
4. F1 Race
5. Olympic Winter (Lillehammer 1994) by US Gold
6. Track Field
7. WWF Superstar
8. Football
9. Ice Hockey
10. Boxing
11. J.C. Tennis (Jimmy Connors)
12. Baseball
13. Side Pocket
14. Seaside Volley (by Tonkin House... never heard of this company, is it a licensed game?)
15. World Bowling
16. Motocross (Motocross Maniacs)

I'll post the other two later... Until then, can anyone tell me about this multicart?
