Other Pirates / fighting games on chinese 16-bits consoles
« on: February 18, 2019, 07:47:49 PM »
Hi! Long time i haven't be here :)

Well, to keep in short; is there any fighting game on these 16-32bits chinese tabletop consoles like the miwii? I usually see boxing games (which is cool, too) but no much about fighting or another related sport-kind games like wrestling or karate. So, anyone has seen one to keep an eye of it?

Greetings!

Other Pirates / Question about TV Kickboxing plug n play game
« on: March 02, 2018, 03:33:10 PM »
Hi again! Long time i wasn't here :)

I wanted to ask about some info about this console i bought some years ago, but i just remembered earlier today.
This is the model: https://www.samsclub.com/sams/kickboxing-interactive-tv-video-game/189910.ip

I have saw same screenshots with another models, so i was intrigued about it. In some sites says it was made by DDR, but as that is the term for dance dance revolution i wasn't too sure about that XD

An ideal for me would catch some manual or clean screenshots of the kickboxing game for data purpouses.

Greetings!

Super Famicom/SNES / about multicarts and Street Fighter II Hacks
« on: March 13, 2017, 09:59:22 PM »
Hello everybody!

I'm back to ask you a question; see, i'm a collector of SNES, Street Fighter and bootlegs, if its the three of them, better xd. I have 4 unofficial cartridges for SNES, begin 1 multicart, 1 hack (SFII Champion edition by Twin Eagles Group) and the others are physical versions of Street Fighter EX, Tekken 2 and X-Men vs Street Fighter. After a while dedicated to other stuff i regained my atention in the 16bits scene, and i remembered a multicart i saw in a website long time ago of a dedicated street fighter II multicart, probably about SFIIWW,SFIITurbo and a hack.

Someone knows more about it?

Discussion Center / about Super A'Can
« on: November 09, 2015, 05:54:37 PM »
Hello again!

This past days i've been researching data about 16-bits era games and console, my eternal passion :P When i remembered the Super A'Can, a console i've a lot of curiosity. To be fair, begin a 16bits console in the mid 90s and his taiwan exclusivity deal are enough reason to gain interest from my side but his Sango Fighter port is the very real main reason. Sadly, his status as a super rare collector item and his limited number of consoles and games produced before begin shutted-down put the prices very, VERY high, at the point is actually impossible to cost any idea of collecting games of the console itself.

But, i doesn't stop me to think about it.

So, getting straight to the point; i've two questions for you, bootleggers friends;
1.- do you think 3d printers could help to revitalice not only the hardware part of super a'can?
2.- is there a super a'can "scene"? you known; rom dumping, prototype searching, homebrew makin'?

weird questions, they are, but... i dunno, i just wanted to share it. :P

also, 50 post. yay!

greetings!

Pirated Work / Looking for SNES slideshow program
« on: April 29, 2015, 06:56:40 PM »
First of all, Sorry if i put this in the wrong place!

Well, i'm looking for a program called "Lion's Slide show ver2.2" for SNES. As the name says it is a slideshow maker for super nintendo. I found a very short one of Super Street Fighter II Turbo so i think; "why not make one longer or something in the way?"

Any info is welcome.

Greetings!

Super Famicom/SNES / Some info of Street Fighter EX, SNES versoin :3
« on: December 22, 2014, 08:09:19 PM »
Hello, every one! It's been a long time. :)

I've return to the bootleg stuff now my SNES finally resurrected. As some of you can remember, i was very, very interesed (or i'll say, obsessed XD) with the bootlegs Street Fighter games for the 16bits nintendo console. Last week a guy from my own city told me about his business making SNES/NES/MD repro carts, so finally i manage to get a physical copy of Street Fighter EX for SNES.

(my copy of Street Fighter EX along with my other SNES bootleg fighter, Tekken 2)

Here are some quick notes i want to share with all of you about the game itself;
1.- Game plays A LOT better with an SNES controller
2.- There are a special maneuver every character share, which somehow instantly take down your opponent. With the buttons of punch and kick simultaneously, it works somehow like the guard break of the original SFEX's game
3.- Some attacks works in the same fashion of the original Arcade/PS1 gamein the meaning of the commands combination, like Chun Li's spinning bird kick, or Ryu Tatsumaki EX-style

If i manage to get more info about it, i'll let you know ;)
When i get the chance i will ask to the guy to make another repro, this time from the Xmen vs Street Fighter SNES rom :3

PD: someone have any info about the SNES projecto f SFII vs Xmen of Twin Eagle Group?

Greetings!

Super Famicom/SNES / I'm Back, with SNES' Tekken 2 (and a question) :D
« on: December 03, 2013, 11:52:43 PM »
Hello everybody!

I'm returning to this forum after a looong absence, and i'm not returning alone... i come with a request!! XDDD

Well, my question is this; finally few weeks ago i get a copy of Tekken 2 for the SNES (cheap price, without having to order to another country :D ), so i played it and actually i like to play it. Of course is not perfect but is a funny challenge, and is a pirate fighter, so i'm ok with that.

But the thing is i want to know of to pull the commands for the "special" moves of the characters in the game. I tried with many of the regular button sequences, beign unsuccesfull. So, if you known how to and you want to share it, i will be very grateful.

That's all.

Saludos!/

« on: April 15, 2012, 11:49:21 PM »
I want to ask for info about X-Men vs Street Fighter, the pirate game for SNES. I notice there is no article about this game in the wiki, maybe because the lack of data (falta de información, i don't know). I could give a gameplay commentary and facts about this game, if you wish.

Discussion Center / New in the Forum. Awww Yeah!
« on: March 26, 2012, 02:55:26 PM »
Hi!

Well, as my first post let me introduce myself; my name is Juan Contreras, a.k.a. Moneyspider_Todd, chilean writer, artist and a potential creative force, and a fan of the nes, super nintendo (absolute fan of the snes >:D), genesis, nintendo 64, playstation and, of course, pirate games/consoles and betas.

Here in Antofagasta, Chile, i don't see a lot of pirate games for the snes (multicarts principally, and the Pokemon/Pikachu/Bonkers and the Sonic/Speddy Gonzales games), but a lot of NES clones and even a sega genesis clone. I found this forum searching info of the kof/x-men vs street fighter/SFEXPlus Alpha games for snes and wow, i found a lot of love for the pirate :D

I hope to learn a lot here, and of course, help to the community in the way it's possible for me ;)

Greetings!
