Famicom/NES / Fceux updates
« on: June 01, 2015, 03:46:44 PM »
When will the ability to see what mapper the rom is using. I want to see it added in a update of fceux. Previously nestopia and virtuanes had this feature so i don't see why the most updated emulator can't have it already.

Other Pirates / connections and ping pong
« on: June 01, 2015, 11:24:40 AM »
Taizou i alwasy thought the ping pong game was supposed to be a remake of nice code's port of inventor's version. Not their version i think. Also i think i saw tweeterman play the game already.
Taizou so you mean the wiii is different from the previous console in that nice code only made the other console. Not the other one.
So basically all of the clones feature either updated music or changed graphics basically.

Famicom/NES / MP5 "Gameplayer"

Theyongrand ironically all the multicarts for the gba that have the same gameboy black and white roms don't run as well. Maybe the same company made both multicarts/consoles then?

Famicom/NES dumps / Waixing's downloadable NES games
« on: May 30, 2015, 11:30:00 PM »
Iniche it turns out it is either padding or mapper related the roms yes.
Awesome panda they get smaller when they are unpadded.
Taizou about the wxn emulator. Is it open source or can you buy it on the official website?
Taizou it turns out the iphone clone tweeterman reviewed actually uses the same font all the vt03 games in the pack use.
Taizou they did use the same header format in several nes multicarts i have been trying to decrypt now.
I know it is not related but most of the files i seen on the site are documentation and notes for their isports pro. It is only one page that has their games on it.
Also for subor's website read this page: Before you download the files as it tells you to put the spg and application/setup files on the sd card. It is basically the same for a hacked wii. Also if you wanted to. You could also transfer roms and the emulator to the same sd card. But make sure the emulator is from their website.
First of all the spg293 is just a chinese version of a hacked wii.

Famicom/NES dumps / 120-in-1 Waixing Multicart + ROM

Robgba five kids is broken. Because i admit i will fix the single cartridge version.
Kage 008 actually i admit there are hacks to get the single player and multiplayer versions back.
Actually it turns out plumber is a simple graphics or palette hack of mario bros for the nes.
Actually tank is dumped already on a clone of one of cahe43's dumped famiclones.
Explorer is a palette hack of galaxian. And yes i do know waixing have a single cartridge version as well.

Bootleg Bazaar / Famly Kid Stand-Alone

The font on the cartridge is comic sans while the actual game i thought was also available on a gba cartridge.

Game Boy / need some help sorting a few gbc pirate dumps...

Ironically the king of fighters R2 title screen hack was also released in 2007.
The waixing gbc games were released in 2009.

Game Boy / need some help sorting a few gbc pirate dumps...

Kingpepe it is because i am making accurate edits and they don't like it. I get it.
Taizou tian cai xiao zhi would be shenzen jncota in english.

Gals fighters is a shorter or easier version of soul falchion. I think the graphics were changed and optionally the music was changed too. Capcom fighter 2003 is not related because it is just the hong kong release of soul falchion.
Actually breath of fire 3 is just a original rpg roughly based on tian kong wu shang. So to answer the question on beggar prince. No the title screen hack is not related to the actual game. Since there is a chinese release i guess the title screen hack was released in hong kong only.
What is ironic about the san guo zhi discussion is that aoshi tianja is actually on the packaging for shenzen nanjing's version. While lie chuan is only seen on the packaging for vast fame's version.
sonic world is a company but i think they are just a copyright screen hack of twin eagle group who made pirate translations of several snes games in 2000.
What is ironic is mo shou zhang ba 3 is by sintax. But sheng huo jiang is in hong kong while fire emblem is a chinese release of the same thing. Since sintax started in 2000. We can assume mo shou zhang ba 3 was released first. Then fire emblem is a title screen hack. Then sheng huo jiang was released in 2004 only. Mo shou zheng ba 3 uses music from their navy ship battle game that got dumped on handheld underground. Fire emblem uses original music from skob's games. While sheng huo jiang is just a title screen hack of skob's version.
Ironically san goku shi is part of a line up of cartridges released in 2007 only. They were all released in china. They are mostly just title screen hacks by BBD.

Game Boy / Jungletac GBA ROMs Found
« on: May 30, 2015, 12:44:56 PM »
Actually taizou to hack the jgc roms back into gba roms. I think they changed the header data.
I think for pinball fish it is not bad anti analising. It is actually because it is simulating anti analising by making the image in photoshop. In hero legend the enemies are from don doko don. Because hero legend is essentially a port of don doko don from the famicom. I always thought to get drivers for the pocket xp. You have to actually ask someone at the store to give the drivers disc to you. Actually it is not because of pirated software for the pocket xp. It is just that the gba roms much like the nes files use less memory than the original jgc/wxn files. Actually pinball fish's background is not a emulation problem. It is just that you can't see it on a actual console. Because the screen is too small to see it unlike a typical big pc screen. Taizou actually it is ironic how they can't rip the ready, go samples from puzzle bobble. Because dragon co did not have any difficulty with doing the same thing. And they are the only music in the rom that is not done consecutively. Actually the reason why the coin digger clone is called manic troll is because dora the explorer says that phrase in the actual anime show. Actually i am still interested in getting the zone 40 and 60 dumped on a computer. Because the games there unlike these gba roms. They are essentially hacks of nice code's games unlike these gba roms which are pirate originals instead.

Famicom/NES dumps / ROM Requests
« on: May 28, 2015, 06:28:17 PM »
I guess yes. Since the multicart is structured consectively. Not orderly like nintendo's official multicarts or sachen's multicarts.
Also thetetrisman already has a rom of it in his post above.
