Famicom/NES dumps / Re: Has Crash 2 for the PVP station ever been dumped?

I don't think it has been, no. It's not in any ROMset that I know of, and the BGW page with it only uses snapshots of raw footage.

Awesome, now more people can experience this part of gaming history.

Famicom/NES / Re: Free multicart Bullyboy 500-in-1 rom! (rare!)

Classic Player Deluxe 86 in 1 is a homebrew multicart specifically parodying bootleg ones, made by forgotusername. It's not really a true bootleg. https://archive.org/details/86in1

I'm not sure if Bully Boy is homebrew. It uses a multicart system used by actual bootlegs, but anyone can use that these days. The fact that the name is a credible (if poor) translation of 霸王小子 (Bàwáng Xiǎozi; I would translate it as "Conqueror Kid") doesn't help.

I definitely thought it was odd that a website that managed to survive to this day still uses only HTTP, but I figure maybe it's just a limitation with the host being used. I mean I thought people didn't care about this forum anymore (at first) but there's still posts from NRS in 2024 so

Hey, I'm new here, and I've decided to make a Google Docs page about this topic. You are all free to share any sources that you find. Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18QznVkbPA2fxaArLejM3s2hVOy-Jg4inX1emwKFrBec/edit?usp=sharing
It's probably more accurate to just say Bootleg Games? A lot of them aren't even from China, they're from Taiwan. Also, not all of them are from plug-n-plays; I don't think the Miwi BS9800 is a plug-n-play at least.
