The DS seems to search for the header, in case you have a game or an expansion pack. That's what could be the problem we're having. As for clones, that's probably because they don't have the same BIOS.. I think.
(Reason I know about the DS thing is because I had a 'DS Fire Link' thing which had an expansion GBA cart to transfer over stuff. Also, I think it's how PassMe works.)- Title: That mysterious Aladdin 2 cart

After RobGBA got his Donkey Kong 2 cart, he, reportedly, couldn't make it work until he resetted his GBA several times. Well, it seems to me that the seller got stuck into a similar situation, so that's why he thought it was out of order... Yay.
