Oh, hey, the music on the character select screen is the same music from the opening cinematic in Top Fighter 2000 for Mega Drive. Not as if it wasn't already obvious who developed this, but still.

What's with the Street Fighter II voice samples? :P Oh, and the theme music from the X-Men VS Street Fighter pirate is used for a couple of the character's stage themes. Also, why does this game have Soul Edge in the title when another one of their pirates is called Soul Blade?

This game is built on the SNES sound engine, which means it must use Capcom sounds (not SFII sounds, for example, they've used Final Fight 2 OST in their KOF bootlegs.) As for the Soul Edge/Blade mixup, i suppose different teams made the games? I suppose the team that made this didn't make Soul Blade, but they made XMEN VS SF anyway.
