We have a thread about new dumps but, don't you think it's better if we have a new section for that sort of thing? It'll probably be better in my opinion because I've lost track with all the new dumps mentioned in that thread.

I was hoping the Hacker Center forum would be used for dumps and all that but eh.

Maybe separate the new dumps thread into two threads, one that's strickly links and another for discussion.

Or, just put them in another forum and have a separate thread for each item.

Anyways, I guess I could put a section in the Hacking Center for ROM dumps and throw the new dumps thread in there, pin it and lock it unless anyone has any better ideas.

Could do, I think that'd kinda split up discussion though - if every new dump has its own thread then people would just end up talking about that game in the dumps forum instead of the system's forum. Maybe start a ROM dumps subforum in every system board? (Famicom, Game Boy, Mega Drive, Super Fami at least - MSX maybe doesnt need one though, there isn't much activity there)

Maybe just leave it where it is, unsticky it and rename it "old new dumps thread" or something. Could leave an announcement or a sticky linking back to it in the new new dumps forums as well.

A little off-topic but does anyone care if the MSX forum gets killed? (And the topics moving the Other Pirates forums) The forum hasn't been all that active and nothing special has been going on in the MSX scene involving pirates (as far as I'm aware).

Yeah, it is pretty dead, we probably don't need it. If MSX discussion ever suddenly picks up for some reason you could always recreate it.

A subforum for dumps might be nice. As it is anything new that gets out there is sorta scattered around the forum, not all going into that one new dumps thread. And just one thread becomes cluttered and harder to sift through the find each individual new dump.

I agree with the topic per system idea, could have posted earlier, but it was night over here. D:
